Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, control, execute and close projects within contractual schedule and budgeted cost.
• To supervise a crew of carpenters in achieving production targets to meet project deadline.
• Perform quality check and ensure furniture are fabricated accordingly to construction drawing.
• Review drawings, design notes, and critical specifications.
• Attend site meetings, inspections, monitor and report of project progress.
• Liaise and coordinate with related parties (e.g., authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers etc.) through regular meetings to ensure conformity to specifications, quality and delivery schedule.
• Supervision at project site to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure that staff and contractors carry out work in a safe manner.
• Monitor daily progress at project site.
• Report to management team on project status.
• Ensure up to date claims, obtaining approval for variations order and prepare for billing.
• Ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

• Interior Design / Carpentry / Joinery knowledge preferred
• At least 5 to 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to start work within short notice
