The M&E Engineer shall:

a. design the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection and such other building services systems as may be required for the Project;

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software, requiring a candidate who is equally comfortable at a soldering station, a Linux terminal, and in the field during flight trials. You will play a critical role in the end-to-end lifecycle of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), from component selection and PCB assembly to firmware debugging and system integration. For the first 6 months, you will be stationed at Client’s Site for the UAS system and subsequently extendable at either Client’s Site or Avetics Global, for another 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Integration & Assembly

• System Integration: Perform full-scale assembly of drone platforms, including motor mounting, flight controller installation, and wiring harness routing.

• Electronics Fabrication: Execute high-precision soldering of surface-mount and through-hole components. Apply conformal coating or resin potting to ensure electronics are ruggedized for environmental resilience.

• Power Management: Safely handle, charge, and test high-capacity LiPo batteries, ensuring all power systems meet safety and performance standards.

Software & Firmware Development

We are seeking a creative and user-focused designer to craft engaging experiences across web, mobile, and print platforms. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand user needs, business objectives, and design requirements, and conduct user research to deliver actionable insights that inform intuitive, impactful design solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and development teams to understand user needs, business objectives, and design requirements.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for websites, mobile apps, and posters.
• Present design solutions to internal teams, stakeholders, and management.
• Identify user pain points and propose research initiatives to gather insights (usability testing, surveys, interviews).
• Translate research findings into strategic, user-centered design recommendations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure designs are visually appealing, intuitive, and consistent with brand and design system guidelines.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to implement designs accurately.
• Participate in front-end development (training provided).

Requirements:

• Strong portfolio showcasing visual design, user-centered thinking, research, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in design tools like Figma or similar.
• Experienced in requirement gathering via workshops, interviews, and research.
• Knowledge of user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Ability to communicate ideas through storytelling, storyboards, mood boards, flowcharts, and presentations.

Project Summary:

Application Spring Boot Upgrade & DMRDashboard Development with Java Backend Engineers.

Project Goals:

• Ensure the seamless and stable transition into go-live state for the 2 mentioned tracks.
• Validate application functionality through auto and manual regression testing.
• Identify,diagnose, and resolve any issues arising from the upgrades.
• Develop and implement the new Dashboard backend APIs

Project Scope (Revised): The project primarily involves:

• Manual Regression Testing: Execution of approximately 2200 manual regression test cases within Zephyr to validate the Integrated Workbench application.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigating and addressing application defects and performance issues related to the Spring Boot upgrade, including root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
• Code Remediation: Developing and applying necessary code fixes or minor enhancements to the Integrated Workbench application to address identified defects stemming from the upgrade.
• DMR Dashboard Development: Designing, developing, and implementing the new DMR Dashboard using Java backend technologies.
• Artifact Management: Ensuring proper archiving of all testing artifacts, code changes, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Collaboration: Working in close conjunction with existing development and QA teams to facilitate a smooth upgrade process and achieve high-quality application delivery.

Project Outcome:

• Execute and capture all test artifacts in the relevant Zephyr ticket.
• Achieve 100% pass for all related test cases.
• Support go-live for the Spring Boot Upgrade.
• Successful development and deployment of the DMR Dashboard.

Required Skillset:

Java – Spring Framework/Hibernate, Strong backend development experience, Tools– Zephyr, Jira. Experience with dashboard development would be a plus
