Job Description:
1. Develop Technical Expertise:
โข Develop technical knowledge of in-house manufacturing processes, products features, benefits and materials to effectively promote Micro-Mechanics products
โข Stay updated on industry advancements and product innovations to remain competitive in the market
2. Customer Relationship Management:
โข Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers by understanding their business model, operational needs and pain points
โข Serve as primary point of contact for customers, offering customized solutions and addressing inquiries regarding product specifications, applications, and sales related matters in a timely and professional manner
โข Ensure customer satisfaction throughout entire sales process by proactively following up and addressing concerns promptly
โข Act as an escalation point for any complex or unresolved customer inquiries or quality issues, ensuring that issues are promptly addressed and resolved at the managerial level
โข Advocate for customers within organization, ensuring their needs and concerns are heard and managed
3. Sales Strategy Development:
โข Collaborate with sales team to implement sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding sales targets
โข Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research and assess competitorsโ offerings
โข Lead contract negotiations and manage end-to-end sales cycle, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company objectives
4. Product Presentations and Improvements:
โข Conduct product presentations and meetings with customers to showcase Micro-Mechanics' offerings
โข Work with internal team to customize presentations to address customer-specific challenges, ensuring clarity on the advantages and benefits of offered solutions
โข Participate in product development process by providing feedback from customers on design, functionality, and performance to improve product offerings
5. Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking:
โข Regularly update on market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance through weekly and monthly reports
โข Track and analyse sales data to identify patterns, opportunities for improvement, and areas requiring attention
Requirements:
1. Educational Qualification:
โข Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is typically required
โข Advanced certifications or training in sales or technical fields are a plus
2. Industry Experience:
โข Previous experience or familiarity with semiconductor or precision manufacturing industries is highly preferred
3. Work Experience:
โข 3โ5 years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Field Application Engineer, or Technical Sales role, preferably in manufacturing, semiconductor, or industrial environments
โข Hands-on experience supporting the end-to-end sales cycle, including customer engagement, technical proposal support, and contract negotiation
4. Communication:
โข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers at all levels, build rapport, understand customerโs needs, and deliver sales presentations
5. Problem-Solving Abilities:
โข Strong analytical problem-solving skills to assess customer needs, provide technical solutions, and troubleshoot challenges
6. Travel & Flexibility:
โข Willingness to travel to meet with customers, attend industry events and internal business development activities
โข Flexibility in working hours to accommodate urgent requests and customer schedule in different time zones
