• Identify and develop solutions to define new opportunities, developing strategic sales with highly visible prestigious customers such as end users, consultants, contractors, etc.
• Develop long term relationships with customers.
• Expand the brand awareness by preparing and delivering high-quality technical seminars/presentations, product demonstrations to consultants, developers, end user and recommend viable solutions for their project requirements.

How You Will Do It:

• Use in-depth technical knowledge and facilitate the sales process to provide, consultants, developer and end users on design, specifications and budgets.
• Liaise with Engineering, Project Management and Supply chain resources to ensure that proposals and feature requests include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, in line with business unit strategies.
• Develop necessary design, technical and marketing tools to support clients on existing and new solutions.
• Maintain records of target opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company approved databases to improve forecast accuracy
• Act as a hunter driven, to seek and develop strong customer relationships, self-motivated, enjoying the challenge of working with a well-regarded team to drive your territory growth.

What We Look For:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in Engineering discipline preferable process engineering, mechanical, or electrical.
• 6+ years of sales engineering experience, including 3+ years in technical, sales, or business development within the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries.
• Experience and technical knowledge with cleanroom and HVAC system design is a requirement.
• Experience in tender development, preparation and costings and GMP guidelines as well as the validation processes from IQ,OQ,PQ
• Excellent presentation and persuasion skills, with well-developed communication skills, able to influence at all levels.
• Able to work independently.
• Proactive, driven, persevering, tenacious, innovative and consist in approach to work.
• Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
• Willing to travel as required

Job Summary

Join Pacific Engineering & Services as a Sales Executive to visit customers, promote marine products, build relationships, and generate sales enquiries, supported by an in-house technical team.

Responsibilities

• Visit existing and potential customers in the marine and shipping industry to promote products and services
• Present marine pumps, equipment, and spare parts effectively to customers to generate interest and sales enquiries
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact and follow-ups
• Generate new business opportunities by identifying customer needs and market trends
• Coordinate with internal technical and sales support teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Attend customer meetings and site visits to support sales activities and customer engagement
• Work independently with a self-motivated approach to meet sales targets and contribute to team goals
• Occasional overseas travel may be required for customer visits and business activities.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
• Friendly and confident personality to engage customers at all levels
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with diverse customer groups
• Comfortable approaching new customers without hesitation
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Team player with a cooperative working attitude
• Sales experience in marine, engineering, or industrial industries is an advantage
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is an advantage
