Purpose of Job

The Product Management Engineer is responsible for managing new product introduction (NPI)and product lifecycle activities from concept through prototyping, qualification, and mass production. The role acts as the technical and project coordination bridge between customers, R&D, and manufacturing teams across Singapore, Mainland China, Malaysia, and Taiwan. The engineer ensures that new products are delivered on time, within cost targets, and meeting optical and mechanical performance requirements.

Job Duties

1. Project Management & NPI Execution

·      Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from RFQ to mass production.

4. Engineering & Manufacturing Coordination

5. Documentation & Change Management

·      Manage engineering change requests (ECR/ECO)throughout development and production.

·      Maintain product engineering documentation including product specifications, BOMs, assembly procedures, test, and qualification reports.

·      Provide regular reporting to customers and internal management.

6. Risk & Cost Management

·      Identify technical, manufacturing, and supply chain risks early and implement mitigation plans.

Experience:

·      0-2 years of experience as a Product or Project Engineer.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Site Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

As a University of Applied Learning, SIT collaborates closely with industry partners in our research pursuits. Our research staff can gain practical research skills that are directly relevant to industry needs while working on projects at SIT.

The main responsibility of this position is to deliver on an industry innovation research project. The Research Fellow/Engineer will be a key member of the research team focused on developing a framework for soil conditioning in Singapore soils through a series of experimental investigations. Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in data engineering or backend roles, with strong programming skills in Python or Java/Scala.
• Hands-on experience with big data tools: Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); proficient in SQL.
• Skilled in designing and maintaining data models, warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines for scalable, reliable systems.
• Knowledgeable in data quality, governance, security, and compliance best practices.
