Job Responsibilities

• Manage daily coordination of ocean freight shipments
• Prepare quotations for ocean freight shipments
• Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams, clients, and overseas partners, ensuring efficient shipment coordination and accuracy of all shipping documentation
• Check schedules and arrange bookings for export shipments (sea)
• Create and issue Debit Notes (DN) for import/export shipments and follow up with clients
• Review and verify shipping documents (e.g., BL, CIPL, Permit, COO, CNM)
• Evaluate project-based opportunities, prepare quotations, and manage operations
• Handle 3PL and warehouse inbound service quotations, operations, and Delivery Notes issuance
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Singapore clients and overseas partners
• Support business growth through effective client and partner engagement

Key Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong knowledge in Ocean Freight (import/export)
• Experience coordinating with carriers, agents, and customers
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry for accounting transactions
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger functions
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders on import matters, shipment discrepancies, surveys, and cost validation
• Support the preparation and timely closing of monthly management accounts
• Handle quarterly financial reporting and GST submissions
• Assist with year-end audit processes, tax filings, and company secretarial matters
• Communicate with clients, brokers, insurers, auditors, and tax agents as required
• Carry out general administrative and office support duties
• Process employee claims and reimbursements in a timely manner
• Monitor and maintain operational contracts and documentation
• Liaise with customers, shipping agents, and terminal operators on operational matters

Requirements:

• Diploma or LCCI qualification in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in Finance (General/Cost Accounting, Audit, or Taxation) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Able to work independently with attention to detail
• Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to manage diverse teams
• Knowledge of freight and vessel operations is preferred

• Conduct performance reviews with drivers to improve their service performance
• Identify recalcitrant drivers and take appropriate actions to deal with drivers, including termination of their service

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage inbound and outbound shipments, including customs clearance and freight arrangements to ensure smooth logistics flow.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records to support supply chain accuracy.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouse operators to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Prepare shipping and delivery documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Track and optimize transportation routes to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Handle logistics-related documentation and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Assist in procurement planning and replenishment processes to maintain inventory levels.
• Resolve transportation delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain regular communication with sales and operations teams to align delivery schedules with customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate logistics operations.
• Work independently to manage logistics tasks and problem-solve issues as they arise.

Required competencies and certifications

• Must hold Class 4 Driving License.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures, customs clearance, and trade documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics management software.
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations (entry level may also be considered with strong academic background).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
