Key Duties

• Perform concept design and system integration for automation machines
• Develop mechanical designs including DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly)
• Prepare detailed fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings
• Conduct component selection and sizing (servo systems, pneumatic systems, sensors)
• Support design standardization, costing, and project planning
• Execute prototype testing and validation based on engineering standards
• Generate and maintain technical documentation, BOM, and user manuals
• Apply engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE, tolerance stack-up analysis, and FEA simulation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on machine development and troubleshooting

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of relevant Mechanical Design experience
• Proficiency in 3D CAD / solid modeling software
• Strong knowledge of mechanical components, servo systems, pneumatic systems, and sensors
• Familiarity with automation systems and machine design principles
• Understanding of geometric tolerancing (GD&T) and dimensional analysis
• Experience or knowledge in high-precision or high-speed machine design is an advantage
• Exposure to semiconductor front-end/back-end processes is a plus
• Working knowledge of ISO standards, manufacturing practices, and engineering procedures
• Experience with engineering analysis tools (FEA, FMEA, DOE) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and components in compliance with project requirements and local regulations
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical installation works at project sites
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Singapore standards and safety regulations
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Perform site inspections and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion within schedule and budget
• Prepare reports, method statements, and risk assessments

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum [4] years of relevant working experience in electrical engineering / construction / M&E works
• Knowledge of local regulations and codes of practice in Singapore
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications (Optional but Recommended for MOM)

• Registered or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Board Singapore
• Experience in Electrical, construction and Oil & Gas Sector
• Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
