The C&S Engineer shall:
a. be the Qualified Person (Structural), where required;
b. review existing structural information and advise on structural feasibility, constraints, loading implications, and any investigation, strengthening, alteration or demolition works required;
c. undertake structural analysis, design and detailing for all relevant structural works;
d. coordinate with the Architect and M&E Engineer on structural integration, builders’ works and service penetrations;
e. prepare and submit all structural calculations, drawings, forms and supporting documents required for statutory approvals;
f. provide structural specifications and technical requirements for tender and construction;
g. review structural shop drawings, method statements and related contractor submissions;
h. inspect structural works during construction and certify compliance where required; and
i. assist with completion inspections, rectification works and final statutory clearances relating to structural works.
