POSITION PROFILE:

This position is to propel any activities related to new model introduction and design change for Li-ion battery with highly specialized process & product knowledge.

To give technical training and education to local engineers.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Policy, strategy alignment, and coordination of PJT by collaborating with Japan HQ or other group companies in Japan.

Ability/Competency required:

• To hold bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or science field.

Key Responsibilities

International Sourcing

• Establish, expand and manage a robust network of overseas suppliers, manufacturers, consolidators and trading partners to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness and scalability.
• Identify, evaluate and onboard overseas suppliers and products through structured due diligence processes, ensuring alignment with category strategies, market demand, quality standards, food safety, ethical sourcing and regulatory requirements.
• Lead end-to-end supplier negotiations covering pricing structures, commercial terms, minimum order quantities (MOQs), lead times, production capacity, service levels and supply continuity commitments, with a focus on optimising total landed cost and mitigating supply risk.
• Monitor and analyse global and regional FMCG trends, consumer demand shifts and competitor sourcing activity to identify sourcing opportunities that support range innovation, differentiation and long-term category growth.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with overseas suppliers and sourcing partners, ensuring effective communication, performance management, issue resolution and continuous improvement across cost, quality and service delivery.

Demand & Supply Planning

• Develop and maintain accurate, data-driven demand forecasts and supply plans for all imported ranges, incorporating historical sales performance, promotional calendars, seasonal patterns, market intelligence and agreed category plans.
• Perform end-to-end order cycle management for inventory, including coordination with suppliers and distribution centres to ensure timely delivery of goods to island-wide stores.
• Translate category strategies, promotions and festive programmes into clear, executable supply and replenishment plans.
• Maintain close awareness of market and supply conditions (e.g. supply constraints, raw material shortages, production issues, geopolitical or logistics disruptions) that may impact product availability or lead times.
• Partner with overseas suppliers to validate production capacity, stock availability, lead times and shipment schedules, and proactively flag supply risks with recommended mitigation or alternative sourcing plans.
• Optimise inventory levels by balancing service level targets, shelf-life constraints, MOQs, lead times and working capital considerations, ensuring healthy inventory turns.
• Proactively monitor store-level on-shelf availability and identify root causes of out-of-stock (OOS) situations; develop and implement corrective actions to reduce OOS duration and recurrence.
• Actively manage inventory health, including excess, slow-moving and discontinued imported SKUs, and define exit strategies timely in collaboration with Commercial teams.

Import Operations & Compliance

• Own end-to-end import planning and execution, from purchase order placement through shipment coordination, customs clearance and delivery to distribution centres.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines and distribution centres to plan, track and optimise shipment schedules, ensuring on-time arrival and efficient inbound handling.
• Track and manage all import shipments end-to-end, providing clear visibility on shipment status, delays, variances and exceptions, and proactively escalating issues with corrective actions.
• Oversee the preparation, submission and maintenance of import licences, permits and regulatory documentation, ensuring audit readiness and adherence to internal governance standards.
• Govern import-related costs, including freight, duties, demurrage and detention (D&D), and work closely with Distribution Centres to minimise total landed and handling costs.
• Ensure timely payment closure and statement of account (SOA) reconciliation with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders and service providers.
• Ensure full compliance with all import-related customs, licensing, permit, food safety and regulatory requirements governing the importation of FMCG goods, in close collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs and Food Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or any related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Category Management, Procurement, and/or similar role.

Summary  

The Resource Optimization Manager is responsible for maximizing the utilization of available resources through the provision of medium-term tactical planning and dynamic deployment.  

Duties and Responsibilities  

• Provide an independent view regarding the most effective utilization of all resources. Support the allocation of resources in through Medium and short-term planning. Guide, direct and support Resource Planners and Allocators to effectively resource shifts on a 24/7 basis through three distinct phases:   

  • Pre-planning - considering the expected demands, schedules, and roster resources pre-plan the allocation of tasks 24-72 hours in advance of the shift  

  • Shift-planning - during the shift prior and/or at the start of the appropriate shift, considering the actual availability of resources (Manpower, Equipment, and Facilities), re-check the pre-plan and undertake the detailed allocation of all resources ensuring that allocation is undertaken according to load  

  • Real-time - considering the availability of resources and the dynamic operational environment, undertake all aspects of the real-time allocation of resources in-line with the actual loads  

• Improve operational efficiency and productivity by utilizing specialist knowledge of the decision support systems including but not limited to Resource Management System (RMS), Real-Time Control (RTC), Multi-Access Check-in System (MACS) and other dnata or third-part Management Information Systems (MIS).  

• Actively work with the Duty Managers and Resource Allocators by providing expert advice, input, and direction in order to respond to dynamic changes during rostering including but not limited to annual leave planning, long term workplace injuries or sickness.  

• Effectively communicate the rostering plan to the appropriate staff, seeking input and review to ensure that front-line staff inputs are reviewed and accounted for in the continual improvement of rostering coverage.   

• Monitor the effectiveness of the rosters and compile automated or manual reports that demonstrate over-coverage or under-coverage on a weekly / monthly basis.  

• Provide the Manager, Resource Planning & Business Improvement, with strategic analysis on “what-if” scenarios by finding efficiency-increasing ways to roster staff.

The Cloud Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery and management of cloud services, ensuring SLAs, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Operations, DevOps, and Cybersecurity, to drive high standards in service delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Delivery Management -Manage the delivery of cloud services across AWS or Azure environments, ensuring alignment with SLAs and customer expectations. Oversee the daily operations of cloud environments, including incident management, change control, and problem resolution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
• Cloud Operations and Monitoring- Implement and monitor dashboards and tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) to ensure real-time health and performance visibility of cloud environments. 4. Works collaboratively with the Managing Agents, Consultants, and other stakeholders to address various feedbacks from the residents about the estate.

Unit Handover & Unit Defects Management

1. Negotiate Contracts from Service Providers to provide defect management services for Defects Liability Period.
2. Ensure that the Defects Management team is providing timely response to the Purchasers regarding defects in their units.
3. Ensure that the overall operational metrics are healthy, ie. Outstanding cases within a reasonable threshold.
4. Collate information and reports from Defect Management team to track trends on quality issues and to proactively work with various stakeholders, eg. Consultant and Main Contractors, towards a conclusive strategy to address each issue.
5. Ensure that quality of service is upheld throughout the whole defects rectification process through training and regular meetings.
6. Oversee the Defects Management staff and assess their performance.
