Job Summary

The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. This role involves a mix of accounts management, financial reporting, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

• Process invoices, verify expense claims, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding collections from clients.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany settlements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and schedules.
• Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurately posted.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes within strict deadlines.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings to IRAS.
• Assist in corporate tax computations and withholding tax filings where applicable.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (ACCA/LCCI candidates are encouraged).
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• High level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payables

• Process and record vendor invoices accurately and promptly in the accounting system.
• Verify invoices against supporting documents (e.g. purchase orders, service agreements, delivery notes) to ensure accuracy and proper authorisation.
• Prepare and process payments to suppliers, including intercompany payments and fund transfers, in accordance with payment terms.
• Perform regular reconciliation of vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.

Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internalcontrols, accounting policies, and statutory requirements.

Assist with inventory and asset management activities,including stock takes, as and when required.

Perform any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by theFM, AFM or Finance Business Partner.

Requirements

• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team under time pressure.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 3 months; immediate availability is preferred.
