Job Summary

You will identify and engage F&B leads, promote accredited courses, build client relationships, manage sales cycles, and achieve sales targets to support Skillmaster Training Centre’s training programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage new F&B leads through cold calling and door-to-door visits to restaurants, cafes, food centres, hawker centres, and food establishments
• Promote SSG and SFA accredited courses, including Food Safety Levels 1 to 3 and other related courses offered by Skillmaster Training Centre
• Build and maintain strong relationships with F&B business owners and managers to assess and understand their staff training needs
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and pitching to closing deals and coordinating registration details
• Achieve monthly sales targets by clearly communicating the value of mandatory and elective industry certifications

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proven experience in outdoor sales and/or telemarketing, preferably within the F&B or training sector

Other Information

Monthly pay includes a fixed basic salary plus a tiered commission based on sales targets. Specific commission tiers will be discussed and negotiated during the interview.

• Plan and deliver comprehensive vocational educational programmes (On-Site Training) to develop students’ work-related skills

• Build a strong relationship with students by demonstrating care, concern and encouragement
• Design and implement positive, robust classroom routines and practices to create and maintain a safe and conducive learning environment as well as foster student development and well-being
• Implement techniques and behaviour plans to manage students with complex and challenging behaviours

Professional development

• Proactively engage in professional development for knowledge and skills development
• Participate in professional learning teams to foster collaborative learning between staff members

Organisation management and development

• Manage daily administrative tasks (e.g. track attendance, collect forms, update families/caregivers.)
• Perform Department Quality Assurance Management (QAM) tasks

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma/ Higher Nitec In Hospitality Management Operations or Environmental Services
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Supervisory or Managerial position
• Experience in teaching/ special needs education would be an advantage
• Technical Skills Specific- Student Development/Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Behavioural Skills - Interpersonal, Classroom Management, Takes Initiative, Effective Communication, Team Player
• Language Skills-Strong in spoken and written English
• Working location: Choa Chu Kang

Scope of Services

• Conduct ICT-based customised training workshop for students and teachers, post training surveys, compile students’ work
• Trainer in charge of Robotics Club
•  Administrator for other ICT-based systems not under MOE
• Manage and upkeep the school’s website
• Assist in providing the Audio Visual Technical support for school events and activities
• Involve in daily assembly, videography, phototaking, videoeditingduring school events, posters/brochures designing andstocktaking, etc.
• Assist HOD Ed Tech in ICT/AV-related administrative,operational and project management duties when necessary such as inventory checks, loaning process, fault reporting matters and service request.

Skill & Experience

a. Have preferably 2 years related working experience
b. Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel
c. Have knowledge of HTML or CSS
d. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Youtube Live

e. Able to troubleshoot a variety of ICT related issues
f. Pleasant personality
g. Customer oriented
