Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and sales-driven Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our jewelry/gold retail store. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining high standards in product presentation and security.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Service

• Support the Store Manager in achieving monthly sales targets
• Provide professional consultation on gold, jewelry, and investment products
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service

2. Store Operations

• Oversee daily store operations including opening and closing procedures
• Ensure proper display, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
• Assist in stocktaking and inventory audits

3. Team Management

• Supervise and guide retail staff to ensure service excellence
• Assist in staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluation

• Monitor CCTV systems and prevent theft or loss

• Handle POS transactions, cash management, and reconciliation
• Support administrative tasks assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2–4 years of retail experience, preferably in jewelry, gold, luxury, or fashion retail
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong sales ability and customer service mindset
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Preferred Qualifications
