We are an M&E firm on the path of improvement and growth. We are inviting an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our fast expansion team as Quantity Surveyor (M&E). In this role, you will play a critical role in managing and executing various aspects of M&E projects from initiation to completion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Taking off quantities, pricing and preparation of tender submission

· Prepare Bills of Quantity

· Source for sub-contractors and suppliers, evaluation of price comparison and costing summary

· Analyze project specifications to recommend cost-saving measures

· Assist Project Team for Variation Works, Progress Claim and Cost Control

· Monitor and keep track of project cost as per planned schedule and budget

· Measure and determine amount of work done at stages to evaluate progress and contractual claims by sub-contractors

· Assist in the settlement of final accounts with client, suppliers, and sub-contractors

· Carry out contract administration duties

REQUIREMENTS

· Diploma / Degree Holders in Quantity Surveying or equivalent from a recognized institution / University

· At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field

· Be able to take instructions and work independently

· Good communications skills, able to interact with people of all levels

· Able to work well in a team

• Assist the Site Quantity Surveyor by providing necessary information for work-in-progress claims and variation orders.
• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to identify and resolve clashes or discrepancies.
• Ensure M&E subcontractors receive the latest approved architectural and structural drawings for shop drawing preparation, including any revisions or amendments.
• Coordinate with subcontractors regarding drawing discrepancies and report issues to consultants and the Project Manager, following up until resolution.
• Monitor and manage the progress of M&E subcontractors to prevent delays to other trades.
• Coordinate with M&E subcontractors on structural penetration drawings and cast-in items, and update the Project Engineer during technical meetings.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Architectural, Structural, and M&E works.
