Job Description:

We are looking for reliable and outgoing individuals to join our Events Marketing Crew. In this role, you will help promote our brand at various events, engage with attendees, and support on-site event operations. You should enjoy interacting with people, working in a fast-paced environment, and representing the company in a positive and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer basic questions about the brand and direct attendees to more information
• Collect customer information or feedback when required
• Support the events team with general tasks throughout the event
• Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing event space

• Preparing and assembling ingredients for menu items.
• Preparing high-quality meals and food items according to company recipes.
• Storing excess food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage.
• Ensuring that food portions and food presentation meet company standards.
• Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed.
• Ensuring that cooking utensils are clean before each use.
• Cleaning and sterilizing food preparation areas.
• Assisting other cooks to ensure that food orders are completed in a timely manner.
• Efficiently resolving problems with customers’ orders.
• Ensuring that food health and safety regulations are followed

About the job

• You have relevant IKEA experience in sales department (preferably in Kitchen furniture and accessories).
• You have relevant experience working with floor plan, kitchen site measurement, in depth knowledge on IKEA Kitchen planning, layout and installations issues.
• Utilise your knowledge of Active Sales in finding solutions for the customer. You should have a passion for selling IKEA furniture and have the confidence to Actively Sell our IKEA range to the customer.
• Assist the customer to help design their ideal furniture combination and suggest suitable products and arrangements conforming to their ideal design.
• Know about all the Kitchen planning / buying process and offered IKEA services in the store as delivery, assembly, installation, and finance schemes and use the knowledge to help customers make informed choices which results in a better shopping experience for them.
• Providing cost estimates and timelines for projects
• Resolving any issues or problems that arise during the planning or installation phase.
• Have in depth knowledge in the Ikea Home Planner allow you to assist and coach the customers and your colleagues in planning Ikea furniture according to specifications, taking into consideration all the Ikea planning criteria.
• Have an eye for details, responsible to cross check kitchen drawing planned by your colleagues to minimise potential errors.
• Work with kitchen service provider closely to ensure Ikea furniture are delivered and installed on time according to planned specification. 
• Support your manager in executing department commercial plan, activities and promotions.

Your profile

• You have an interest in Sales and home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home.
• You have experience in planning, designing and selling furniture in a retail environment. 
• You will have the ability to work with customers on their desired furniture layout, and accurately complete complex purchases.
• You can commit to working on retail shift work, weekends and public holidays

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct cold canvassing and business development activities to grow the commercial customer base
• Identify, approach, and secure new B2B sales opportunities for bathroom and kitchen products
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to order closing
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, and support tender submissions where required
• Coordinate with internal teams and external clients on project requirements, order progress, and delivery matters
• Handle sales administration tasks using sales software and shared online folders
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer information, and project updates
• Support site visits, contractor coordination, and project-related follow-up when required

Requirements

• Relevant experience in B2B sales, preferably in bathroom, kitchen, building materials, sanitary ware, or related products
• Able to generate leads independently and develop new business opportunities
• Experience in handling quotations, tenders, and project coordination is an advantage
• Comfortable working with contractors, site-related matters, and commercial projects
• Proficient in using sales software and shared online systems for sales administration
• For senior-level consideration, candidates with at least 5 years of experience in contractor sales, site work, or tender projects are preferred
