• Coordinate with tax agents on corporate tax filings, GST submissions, and compliance matters to meet statutory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to local statutory and regulatory financial requirements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises to support financial planning.
• Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast to identify financial trends and issues.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate with local and overseas subsidiaries’ General Managers to review financial performance and provide actionable insights.

• Support subsidiaries in forecasting revenue, costs, and profitability to enhance financial planning.
• Lead onboarding of new subsidiaries into Microsoft Dynamics 365 to streamline financial operations.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in shipping or crewing industries.
• Experience managing full set of accounts independently.
• Prior exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or ERP environments is a strong advantage.
