Responsibilities

• Handle daily maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of servers and applications. 

• Manage and optimize Linux systems, including log analysis and basic security hardening. 

• Maintain and operate databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis. 

• Deploy, manage, and configure Kubernetes clusters and related resources. 

• Install and maintain Hadoop ecosystem components (HDFS, HBase, Hive, YARN).

Role Summary

This role is to establish and lead the operational foundation for the Variable Universal Life (VUL) product. The role will be responsible for building core processes, documentation standard, and maintain good external partnerships. As the primary subject matter expert for VUL operations, the individual will work closely with private banks, custodians, business partner, and internal teams to ensure a seamless end‑to‑end policy lifecycle

The Role

·       Oversee the full VUL lifecycle from application submission to policy issuance, including custodian account setup and premium funding coordination.

·       Resolve operational issues and ensure timely completion of all lifecycle tasks.

·       Establish documentation standards and risk management practices for VUL administration.

·       Build and maintain strong relationships with private banks, custodians, and business partners.

·       Act as the VUL SME supporting brokers, financial advisory firms, and bancassurance channels.

·       Provide operational guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.

·       Conduct due diligence, compliance reviews, and corporate documentation assessments during partner onboarding. Ensure alignment with internal processes, regulatory requirements, and risk guidelines.

·       Track, manage, and report Service Level Agreements(SLAs) across custodians, distributors, and internal teams.

·       Monitor key performance metrics and provide reporting to support informed decision-making.

·       Recommend improvements to enhance service delivery or operation process efficiency.

Your Profile

·       Bachelor’s Degree with business related qualifications

·       10+ years in life insurance operations. Strong working knowledge of VUL products, VUL operational lifecycle and custodial structures is preferred.

Reporting to the GM, the Operations Executive/ AM’s primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure smooth day to day operations of the company, and support the company to hit growth targets and sales goals.

Job Responsibilities:

Inventory

• Update, maintain and keep accurate inventory records in system on a consistent basis.
• Monitor stock depletion and manage weekly stock withdrawals from external (bonded) warehouse and propose purchase requisition from suppliers to ensure optimal stock level at all times.
• Process internal stock transfers.
• Verify the accuracy of stock movements by conducting detail audits of the inventory on a regular basis.
• Report stock loss/ damage; investigate inventory errors and reconcile stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Track goods returns, investigate all the potential causes and suggest corrective measures for improvement.
• Oversee quarterly stock take.
• Work closely with warehouse team to create and implement effective inventory control procedures.

Warehouse& Logistics Operations

• Oversee daily business operations and addressing operational issues.
• Supervise warehouse and logistics team, including fleet and warehouse management, and backup when required.
