Job scope:
A. Payroll Processing

• Assist the Payroll Officer in generating monthly crew payroll across assigned vessels.

• Verify crew home allotment instructions and payment requests.

• Check reimbursement claims and prepare submissions for processing.

• Ensure all payroll entries comply with SEA contract terms and are correctly entered into CFM.

B. Cost Allocation & AP Coordination

• Highlight any irregularities or significant cost variances to the Fleet Crewing Manager.

• Work closely with Crewing Officers, manning agents, and Finance departments for required information.

• Participate in process improvements related to payroll and documentation workflows.

Position Documentation Officer ( Permit Declaration)

We are looking for a responsible and motivated staff to join our Freight Forwarding team to handle Customs Permit Declarations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and declare import, export, and transshipment permits ( Sea & Air )
• Ensure accuracy of permit declaration according to shipping and customs requirements.
• Verify shipping documents such as Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, and supporting documents.
• Follow up on permit approvals and customs clearance status.

Requirement

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
• Min 2 years : Experience in freight forwarding on permit declaration will be an advantage.
• Understanding of Incoterms.
• Familiar with Singapore Customs permit procedures is preferred.
• Able to work independently ( work at home )
• Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify suppliers’ invoice with supporting documents (e.g. DO, PO etc)
• Arranging for payment to suppliers’
• Responsible for monthly closing of AP
• Responsible for bank reconciliation & schedules
• Responsible for AR interco billings
• Assist in intercompany reconciliation
• Responsible to prepare for Quarterly GST filing
• Assist in cashflow planning & budgets
• Assist in monthly closing
• Assist in year-end closing
• Other ad-hoc duties when required
• Able to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Willing to learn and accept new work scope when required.mer accounts as necessary.
• Prepare and assist in AR aging analysis and reporting.
• Assist in providing necessary documentation for audits.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Diploma in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Proficiency in the use of ERP accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• This position may require occasional overtime during peak periods.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask effectively.
