The Engineer shall personally attend all monthly meetings with the Employer and he/she shall be physically present on site during emergencies unless he/she has the prior permission from the Employer to absent himself/herself from the meeting or emergencies and that an authorised representative will be attending on his/her behalf.

The Engineer shall carry out daily inspections under the Contract to ensure that the Site is well maintained. The Employer may as and when require request for joint inspection.

The responsibilities of the Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following:-

a. To carry out daily maintenance of M&E systems/ building activities;
b. To supervise and ensure all M&E and building services under the Contract are properly maintained and in efficient operating condition;
c. To monitor all scheduled, breakdown and unscheduled and cyclical maintenance works;
d. To schedule, monitor and ensure scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities and additional M&E and building services under the Contract are carried out effectively;
e. To supervise a team of staff deployed on site and;
f. To carry out daily inspection of M&E systems and building to ensure that defects are promptly rectified as spelt out in the service standard.

On top of his normal duties in carrying out Breakdown Maintenance to M&E systems and building services, the Engineer shall be required to assist in enforcing fire safety rules and policing for fire safety measures for the Site.

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction drawings
• Use BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for modeling and coordination
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with architectural and structural teams to resolve conflicts
• Ensure all BIM models comply with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements
• Update models and drawings based on design revisions and site conditions
• Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors
• Extract quantities and assist in material take-off when required
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical support for BIM-related matters
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of all BIM files

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in BIM modeling for M&E / ACMV projects
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of M&E systems, including electrical and air-conditioning (ACMV)
• Familiar with Singapore BIM standards and construction practices is an advantage
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and in a team environment

The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring proper adoption of resource, quality and risk standards as well as managing project profit during the project lifecycle. He/She coordinates all administrative processes related to a project eg reports, claims, payment of invoices, including the final project handover documentation. He/She typically comes from an engineering industry/background and is able to identify and report project-related issues as well as suggests changes related to quality, risk and administrative processes.

He/She has good communication, customer management and negotiation skills for engaging with both internal and external parties to coordinate project activities between organisational departments and teams during the various phases of a project, as well as managing sub-contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and adhering to technical requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), project & facilities management, building services engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent or equivalent.
• Diploma holders with relevant facilities management, M&E experience are also welcome to apply
