Specific Responsibilities:

·                 Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, transmission flushes, airconditioner re-charges, wheel alignments, battery installations,headlight/taillight installations, vehicle spare parts.

·                 Interact with customers to obtain information about the problems they are experiencing with their vehicles

·                 Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

·                 Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good condition

·                 Willingness to learn with hands-on training

·                 Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety

·                 Provide professional advice for appropriate repairs, servicing, technical assistance and provide great customer service.

·                 Arrangement of inventory and stock take

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair on automobiles, light and heavy trucks and other automotive equipment
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance (e.g. oil changes and tune-ups)
• Perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function
• Identifies mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issue on vehicle
• Support and collaborate with Wireman or Welder when perform align works on vehicle
• Ensure safety practices are followed and housekeeping is maintained in accordance with safe work procedures
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Secondary or higher
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Mechanical and repair skills, engine overhaul, specialty tools and diagnostic equipment knowledge

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance on company vehicles (e.g., lorries, tipper trucks, service vans).
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair construction machinery and roadworks equipment (e.g., excavators, pavers, rollers, skid loaders).
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults, and perform corrective actions.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure vehicles and machines comply with LTA and MOM regulations.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns on-site and ensure minimum downtime.
• Work closely with the logistics and operations team to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Others work as arrange by the HOD and the company.

Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent if any.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles and construction machinery.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and respond to urgent breakdowns.
• Class 3/4 driving license will be an added advantage.
