As a Senior Engineer, Supplier Quality within ASM’s Global Quality team, you play a key role in ensuring manufacturing excellence across internal sites and contract manufacturers. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams worldwide, you help resolve complex quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen quality systems aligned with ASM’s technology roadmap. What you will be working on

• Create detailed and well‑structured inspection plans, partnering with cross‑functional teams to improve assembly processes, testing, and product quality.
• Lead customer escalations and feedback, working with manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers, and field teams to define clear problem statements.
• Investigate non‑conformances using structured problem‑solving methodologies, including 8D, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Quality Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering in a semiconductor equipment or high-tech manufacturing industries
• Experience supporting internal audits, certification audits, and/or customer audits.
• Familiarity with operational excellence tools such as Lean manufacturing, FMEA, SPC, PDCA, 8D problem solving, and Six Sigma.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with hands‑on experience applying structured methodologies such as 8D.
