We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Shop Assistant to support daily store operations. The ideal candidate will assist customers, maintain store presentation, and help drive sales through excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs
• Operate the cash register, handle payments, and issue receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is properly displayed
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or returns in a positive manner
• Support promotional activities and sales campaigns
• Follow store policies, procedures, and security guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic numeracy and cash-handling ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

* IR8 / IR21 * Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices * Good knowledge of Government legislations (MOM, CPF and IRAS) * Assist in recruitment processes including job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews. * Conduct new employee orientations and manage the onboarding process. * Maintain and update employee records and HR databases. *Coordinate and assist for project deployment. * Manage payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate salary payments. * Organize and maintain personnel files and ensure confidentiality. * Timely renewal and cancellation of work permits for foreign workers. * Carries out work permit applications, renewals and cancellations of foreign workers in a timely manner; * Follows up with purchase or cancellation of workers’ bond guarantees; * Any other HR & Account functions as assigned Requirements:- * Candidates must possess at least a Diploma in Business or HR Management or equivalent qualifications. * Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is required. * Understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR practices. * Knowledge of Employment Act and various sourcing techniques. * Good command of written and spoken in English and Mandarin to interact with Chinese speaking employees. Can use translation app but in a proper documents. * Possess integrity, “Can Do” attitude with passion and a global mindset * Effective at prioritizing, organizing and meeting deadlines * Meticulous, accurate, detailed, time sensitive and have an inquisitive/curious mind. * Possess initiative, drive, a good eye for details and is result-oriented. * Able to work overtime as required.
