Position objective and summary

• We are looking for a dedicated Steelwork Supervisor cum Draftsman to join ourengineering team. This position combines hands-on supervision of steel fabrication works with technical drafting responsibilities. Main tasks / activities / responsibilities

• Steelwork Supervision

The Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Site Engineer in coordinating with sub-contractors and workers over site works, ensuring work done is in accordance with specifications and quality requirements.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Check and study drawings before disseminating information to sub-cons and workers.
• Liaise with respective sub-contractors on work methods and sequencing.
• Coordinate and Monitor progress, quality of worksmanship and compliance with contract requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced and responsible Cleaning Services Site Supervisors and Roving Supervisors to oversee daily cleaning operations at commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and residential facilities across Singapore.

The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, ensuring service quality, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety and environmental cleaning standards.

Key Responsibilities

Site Operations Management

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations at assigned sites.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to contractual requirements, service schedules, and company standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Monitor the proper use of cleaning equipment, machinery, and chemicals.
• Ensure adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and consumables.

Staff Supervision

• Lead, supervise, and motivate cleaning personnel on-site.
• Prepare work schedules, duty rosters, and deployment plans.
• Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and work performance.
• Conduct on-the-job training and coaching for cleaning personnel.
• Ensure staff comply with company policies, safety procedures, and site regulations.

Client Relations

• Liaise with clients, building management, and site representatives on operational matters.
• Address service feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular service reviews and inspections with clients where required.
• Escalate major operational concerns to management when necessary.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Perform routine quality checks and audits.
• Ensure compliance with:Environmental cleaning standardsWorkplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirementsProgressive Wage Model (PWM) requirementsCompany Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare incident reports, inspection reports, and corrective action plans when required.

Roving Supervisor Responsibilities (Applicable to Roving Positions)

• Visit multiple sites daily to conduct inspections and support site operations.
• Provide manpower support during staff shortages, emergencies, and special projects.
• Assist with onboarding and deployment of new employees.
• Support Area Managers in maintaining service standards across multiple locations.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental cleaning, facilities management, housekeeping, or related industries.
• Prior experience supervising cleaning teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial, industrial, residential, educational, or healthcare cleaning environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Preferred WSQ Certifications

Candidates should possess one or more of the following relevant WSQ certifications:

• WSQ Certificate in Environmental Cleaning
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Environmental Services Supervision
• WSQ Environmental Cleaning Operations and Supervision Certifications
• WSQ Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) related certifications
• WSQ Leadership and Team Management Certifications
• Other relevant Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certifications related to environmental cleaning and facilities services

Skills & Competencies

Primary Function

• Supports the Facilities Department in Maintenance Planning, SOE Expenses & Payment, and Vendor Management for Plant Facilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning Support

• In charge of scheduling and tracking preventive & corrective maintenance tasks across equipment and facilities
• Ensure timely follow-ups and documentation of Preventive & Corrective Maintenance activities

SOE Expense Management

• Support in SOE Budget Planning and Expenses Tracking
• Monitor and report on Statement of Expense (SOE) spending to ensure alignment with budget forecasts
• Update on monthly SOE expenses and align with maintenance needs
• Collaborate with finance teams for accurate and timely expense reconciliation

Vendor Management

• Request and negotiate quotations (RFQ) from approved vendors for maintenance services and equipment
• Oversee service scheduling, monitor service quality, and ensure timely resolution of vendor-related issues
• Maintain healthy vendor pool and annual evaluation

Vendor Delivery &Work Completion

• Verify and validate completion of vendor parts delivery and maintenance work completion and support maintenance team to ensure compliance with technical standards and documentation protocols
• Responsible for Month end closing for Vendor’s DO and Service Completion

Ariba System:Procurement & Payment

• Initiate purchase requisitions (PR), order approval (PO), and payment processing via the Ariba platform
• Seek RFA approval for RFQ
• Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to resolve system or invoice discrepancies

Inventory &Material Handling

• Receive and issue maintenance-related purchases and materials as per operational requirements
• Ensure accurate documentation and stock level updates in inventory management systems

Store & Administrative Support

• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of store inventory, tools, and consumables
• Support compliance with storage procedures, safety policies, and housekeeping standards

Qualification/Experience

• Diploma/Degree qualification preferably in Engineering Planning or Procurement discipline
• Relevant Computer Proficiency level required for using MS Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, Words etc. and Inventory Management Softwares
• Preferably more than 3 years related working experience in manufacturing and plant facilities maintenance environment
• Resourceful in problem solving and able to work overtime

Senior Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all maintenance operations, repair works, system upgrades, and asset lifecycle management for Pneumatic Waste Conveyance Systems (PWCS).
• Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans, preventive maintenance programs, manpower allocation, and resource planning to ensure maximum system reliability and operational efficiency.
• Manage site mobilization activities and collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely sourcing of spare parts, equipment, and maintenance materials.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance teams, subcontractors, and service personnel across multiple sites to ensure safe and efficient execution of works.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, work progress, system performance, and project milestones to ensure timely completion and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Establish and maintain maintenance documentation, service reports, equipment history records, maintenance checklists, and asset management databases.
• Liaise directly with clients, facility management teams, consultants, and stakeholders regarding maintenance schedules, system performance, service reports, and operational improvements.
• Review, approve, and maintain Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Method Statements, and permit-to-work documentation for all maintenance activities.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for complex pneumatic conveying system faults, mechanical equipment failures, electrical controls, and automation-related issues.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, performance verification, and system acceptance for repair, replacement, and enhancement works.
• Develop and update Operation & Maintenance Manuals, technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and maintenance guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, environmental requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Mentor, train, and develop maintenance supervisors, technicians, and engineers to strengthen technical competency and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, and operations teams to support system upgrades, modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
• Prepare maintenance budgets, cost forecasts, resource plans, and performance reports for management review.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to system uptime, maintenance efficiency, safety performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant maintenance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory capacity.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatic conveying equipment, blowers, valves, electrical control systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, asset management, troubleshooting, and leading multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, risk assessment procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and maintenance contracts simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and technical reporting.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage, to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
