• Perform shift duty to support daily operations in Chemical Laboratory and Cleanroom environment 

• Perform and coordinate quality assurance monitoring for Fab Environment, Facilities and point of use chemical, slurry, ultra-pure water and wafer quality analysis per requirements 

• Perform data entry on analysis results and communicate to user on result and analysis where required 

• Support the fab engineering modules on point-of-use sampling 

• Manage, maintain and verify functionality of equipment and perform troubleshoot where required, such as IC, ICPMS, Titrator, pH meter and others 

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) & Operating Instructions (OIs) 

• Take ownership and perform all necessary analysis on analytical tools 

• Highlight any problems or abnormalities in equipment or data 

• Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift 

• Ensure good housekeeping and safety practice 

• Lead or take part in continuous improvement projects 

More about you: 

• GCE ‘’O’ level / STPM / SPM / NTC 3 / NTC 2 or equivalent 

• 1 – 3 years Chemical Laboratory experience preferred 

• Basic English proficiency - be able to read, write and communicate  

• Basic computer literacy

Position Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and diligent Site Specialist with practical experience in an analytical role to support R&D analytical work following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Includes both routine and non-routine laboratory testing, Stability Management, providing technical support, and maintaining laboratory cleanliness while meeting safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform stability placement and pull from CTCH chamber and management of CTCH
• Perform chemical analyses for product stability assessments, research and development, and quality investigations using instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, and Autotitrator.
• Support testing for various parameters including Piroctone Olamine, Zinc Pyrithione, Menthol, Fatty Acids, Glycerine, Triclocarban (TCC), and Salicylic Acid.
• Perform testing on internal raw materials, unfinished, and finished products, including the preparation of samples, standards, buffers, and mobile phases.
• Support ad-hoc testing requests, including FTIR and C2PM3 analysis (training will be provided if needed).
• Document results in Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) and upload data into the LIMS system (NEXUS).
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure accurate operation of lab equipment; call out issues to equipment owners or technical leads.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain lab cleanliness, handle chemical inventory, and audit readiness.
• Maintain and manage lab supplies to ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.
• Support investigations of quality events such as out-of-specification (OOS) results.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Chemistry or a related field of science.
• Previous practical experience working in a laboratory environment with instruments such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, Stability management and autotitrations.

Plant Setup & Operational Phase

• Training and familiarization with the new equipment.

• Current welding certification(s) relevant to aerospace (e.g., AWS D17.1, EN 1418, or OEM-specific) in GTAW/TIG welding on nickel alloys, titanium, and stainless steels.
• CNC programming and operation certification for 5-axis machining (Ideally: Mastercam, Siemens NX, or OEM-specific).
• Heat treatment process qualification for localized stress relief / solution annealing (induction, resistance, or blanket heating).
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in aircraft engine case repair (fan cases, compressor cases, turbine cases, intermediate cases, etc.) in an MRO or OEM overhaul environment.
• Proven proficiency in the following key processes:
• Welding — Precision TIG/GTAW welding, weld repair of cracks, porosity, and damaged areas; weld buildup and blending on cases; post-weld heat treatment coordination.
• 5-Axis Machining & Milling — Operation and basic programming of 5-axis CNC machines for complex case features (flanges, bosses, mounting pads, seal lands, bearing housings); contour milling, drilling, boring, and thread repair.
• Localized Heat Treatment — Application of localized stress-relief heat treatment using induction coils, ceramic blankets, or resistance heating elements; temperature monitoring, charting, and thermocouple placement per OEM procedures.
• Installation of Accessories — Precision installation and torquing of brackets, bosses, inserts, studs, tubes, harnesses, sensors, and other case-mounted accessories; lockwiring, sealing, and anti-fretting compound application.
• Part Sentencing / Disposition — Final visual, dimensional, and documentation review of repaired cases; independent sentencing (serviceable, repairable, scrap) in accordance with engine overhaul manuals, service bulletins, engineering dispositions, and quality requirements.
• NDT - Current NDT Level II certification (NAS 410, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, EN 4179, or equivalent aerospace standard) in the following five primary NDT methods: PT,MT,ET,UT,RT.
• Cleaning/Chemcial Processing - Familiarity with typical multi-step engine cleaning sequences: aqueous/alkaline degreasing → alkaline rust/scale removal → acidic descaling → neutralization/rinsing → drying/passivation
• Adept in engine case materials (titanium alloys, Inconel, stainless steel, aluminum) and common defects (cracks, fretting, corrosion, distortion, wear).
• Experience working in a lean repair cell environment (one-piece flow, multi-skilled technician model).
• Proficient use of precision measuring equipment (CMM, Faro arm, height gauges, air gauges, thread gauges, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, repair schemes, and OEM manuals (GE, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, CFM, IAE, etc.)
• Nadcap or AS9100 experience
• Experience with automated welding (e.g., orbital or robotic TIG)
• Prior exposure to laser cladding or cold spray repair processes
