The Department of Architecture invites applications for up to four Tenure Track positions in Landscape Architecture.  

The Department of Architecture in the College of Design and Engineering is ranked among the top 10 in the world, and Asia’s best in Architecture/Built Environment, by the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings (2023). It offers the professionally accredited Master of Architecture programme as well as a range of graduate and undergraduate programmes in related fields such as urban planning/design, landscape architecture and conservation. This role sits at the intersection of music, audio systems, and gameplay — partnering closely with Audio, Design, Engineering, and external music vendors to ensure music is authored, implemented, and optimized for real-time player experiences.

This is not a music supervision, licensing, or marketing-driven role. It is a game music production role with a strong emphasis on music systems, technical integration, and interactive execution, rather than record production or campaign-based music supervision.

This is a position based in Singapore, working closely with both global and regional Riot teams.

Responsibilities:

Production Scope & Accountability

• Translate gameplay goals, creative vision, and system intent into clear, actionable interactive music briefs.
• Be responsible for end-to-end interactive music production for game cosmetic products across League of Legends & Teamfight Tactics. 

Interactive Music Systems & Implementation

• Own and oversee end-to-end game music delivery across the team, spanning asset creation, in-game implementation, and final validation.
• Partner with game teams to define and support interactive music system behavior, including transitions, layering, states, and real-time logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead major projects within the Design Department, accountable for the full project lifecycle and team results.
• Plan, assign, and supervise design tasks; mentor and guide the design team.
• Review and approve drawings and technical documents from the team.
• Ensure proper implementation of design controls and maintain quality standards.
• Prepare material requisition lists for projects.
• Design electrical switchboards, control panels, and consoles per client requirements and company standards.
• Create and submit approval/shop/final drawings, short circuit calculations, and instruction manuals.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants regarding technical requirements; participate in technical meetings as needed.
• Communicate technical changes and variations to Sales & Marketing for claims or contract adjustments.
• Liaise with production to follow up on design and shop drawings.
• Support Sales & Marketing with technical input and backup for contract bidding.
• Continuously improve department workflow to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Follow and enforce Quality Management System procedures.
• Carry out other tasks as directed by supervisors.

• Serves as a key team member supporting electrification team functions.
• Designs and reviews functional system specifications for energy infrastructure and electrification-related projects.
• Performs topside power system design for energy infrastructure, including operational philosophy, design calculations, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Conducts sizing analysis for new-build and retrofit electric vessels.
• Leads compliance efforts related to grid and transmission requirements.
• Engages with stakeholders to provide project design updates and alignment.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes EPC activities and energy storage system implementation for energy infrastructure projects.
• Works effectively toward departmental objectives, adapting to changing priorities and assignments.

Job Requirements

• Possesses a Degree or Diploma in marine, mechanical, or electrical engineering disciplines.
• Good knowledge of marine energy infrastructure design, including energy storage systems, smart grid, and microgrid implementation.
• Prior experience in grid-tie project development and execution.
• Familiarity with the design, review, and simulation of energy infrastructure applications.
• Familiar with IEC/IEEE standards related to energy infrastructure and energy storage systems.
• Prior experience in designing and executing marine or land-based power systems.
• Experience with LV/MV switching, variable frequency drives, or uninterruptible power supply operations.
• Ability to understand single-line diagrams (SLD) and schematic drawings.
• Good knowledge of power system protection schemes.
• Possesses an inquisitive and learning mindset.

Requirements

• Completed a MS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of related experience or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of related experience
• Hands-on experience in designing mixed signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, Bandgap bias circuits, regulators, and other analog circuits.
• Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise.
• Ability to apply innovative solutions to resolve complex issues.
• History of identifying and developing best practices that deliver high-quality and effective solutions.
• Strong knowledge on the deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
• Knowledge and experience on low power and high-speed design techniques.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog, etc.
• Lab testing skills to evaluate the prototype unit to the design specification.

• Develop, document, and support the fabrication of high-precision plastic injection tooling and molded components for manufacturing.
• Assist the Program team during new project quotations by providing accurate DFM (Design for Manufacturing) analysis to ensure tooling and product meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with customers on DFM and mold concept reviews, addressing technical requirements and concerns.
• Support the Tooling Department by conducting internal tooling design and DFM reviews prior to tool launch.
• Assist Production in molding process optimization, implementing manufacturing fixtures and automation to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Support the Quality Team in designing and fabricating test and measurement fixtures.
