• Find opportunities to apply AI as a force multiplier to both technical and business deliverables. Contribute to the SPG AI toolkit and evangelize AI within the organization
• Collect data and metrics from existing systems to guide decision making and business intelligence, developing or enhancing tools as necessary to collect them
• Communicate with traders, sales, strategists, operations, and compliance officers to gather new requirements, design workflow, deliver features and provide user support

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Research or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Hands-on experience with Java
• Hands-on experience with agentic AI, skills development, prompt optimization
• A solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• A solid understanding of data structures and algorithms as well as systems design
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team as well as independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working experience in the financial industry and front-office facing environment
• Financial knowledge and good understanding of Equities Synthetic or Derivative products
• Experience applying AI or automation to real‑world engineering workflows, including familiarity with LLM‑based and AI‑assisted development tools in an enterprise environment
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Spring/Guice
• Prior experience in Web or UI development such as Angular/React

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing day to day project activities including scheduling, coordinating and monitoring and reporting update of projects.

• Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment, communicate concisely to all levels of the organization, and maintain effectiveness while working autonomously or collaboratively.
• Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
• Familiar with Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work application requirements and procedures.
• Ability to maintain good project documentation and is familiar with ISO documentation requirements.

• Oversee on-site Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) operations for large-scale transit projects, ensuring the precise installation of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Job requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of M&E projects experience
• Deep technical expertise across core E&M disciplines, specifically encompassing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit MEP), and the MS Office suite; familiarity with modern project management software is a strong plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of local building codes, statutory regulations, and authority submission workflows (including LTA, BCA, SCDF, EMA, and PUB).
• Prior hands-on experience managing LTA or heavy rail infrastructure projects is highly advantageous.
