Job Summary

Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, this hands-on HR generalist leadership role manages the full spectrum of HR and employee lifecycle processes. You will partner with Business Units to deliver compliant, pragmatic, and people-centred HR solutions supporting organisational growth in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Units to deliver timely, practical HR advice on manpower planning, recruitment, remuneration, performance management, learning and development, and employee relations to align with organisational goals
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and guide leaders through people-related decisions that support business objectives
• Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, statutory regulations, and market best practices
• Identify policy and process gaps, recommend improvements, and streamline HR operations to enhance efficiency and compliance
• Plan and lead employee engagement initiatives and programmes that foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture supporting well-being, morale, and retention
• Support organisational change initiatives and promote company values during growth or transformation phases
• Assess organisational and individual learning needs in collaboration with Business Units to support capability building aligned with business priorities
• Manage training administration including budget planning, course registrations, and vendor coordination
• Lead HR systems administration ensuring accuracy of employee records, reports, and documentation
• Analyse HR data and trends to generate actionable insights supporting management decision-making, workforce planning, policy reviews, and learning programs
• Lead office administration functions including space planning, facilities coordination, employee travel arrangements, and procurement of supplies and services to ensure smooth daily operations
• Support additional HR initiatives and projects as assigned, adapting quickly to evolving business needs and managing multiple priorities concurrently

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner role
• Strong working knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices

Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

Provide day to day operation handling full Human Resource (HR) spectrum as well as work pass and payroll administration and assist in internal and external audit.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
(A) Specific :

• Provide support in recruitment process such as job posting, sourcing, screening, coordinating of interview and offering to shortlisted candidates.
• Responsible for onboarding (new employees) and off-boarding processes (resignees) which include conducting orientation and exit interview.
• Update and maintain of staff particular lists for the Group and file in the documents.
• Prepare / update letters for employees, such as Employment Letter, Salary Review Letter, Renewal Contract, Confirmation Letter, and others which applicable and create PayAdvisorMobile (PAM) system user for employees.
• Processing of payroll.
• Assist in the e-Appraisal and Quarterly Climate Survey.
• Administer the processing of Work Pass administration which include application, renewal and termination as well as Permanent Residence Application.
• Administer employee benefits and entitlement which include notifying WICA insurance for new and resigned employees for staff only.
• Provide administration and support for the internal and external audits.

(B) General :

• Prepare necessary documents for new hire and confirmation etc.
• Monitor and follow-up on Employee Introducer Scheme, if any.
• Handle and provide administrative duties within the HR department.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

• To follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• Certificate or Diploma or Degree in HR Management.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Must have experience in Payroll Processing and Administration.
• Understand and familiar with the Employment Act.
• Knowledge in Payroll system (eg. PAM system) would be an advantage.
