Job Scope:

Disciplinary Support, via a restorative practice approach:

• Supporting late-coming, in-house suspension and detentions, and support pull-out programmes

• Serves as a mentor for students requiring closer guidance.

• Patrolling classroom blocks, canteen, basketball courts and field during recess and lunch times

• Conducts physical monitoring and patrolling on school premises and neighborhood after school curriculum hours.

Investigative & Case Support:

• When incidences happen, to support investigations and support students via the Restorative Practices approach by obtaining student and witness statements for Student Management KPs for follow up

• Closing the loop by communicating with parents, staff and students where needed

Reporting Structures and Expectations:

• Deployment & Reporting: DSO will report operationally to In- Charge of Student Management Committee (HOD/SM)

• Deployment schedule will be determined by the school in accordance with the termly school timetable and events.

Performance Expectations:

• DSO is expected to demonstrate professionalism, discretion and good judgement

• Engage students in respectful and positive ways

• Uphold confidentiality and fairness during case investigation

• Collaborate effectively with teachers and SM committee

Requirements:

Working Experience:

• Must have former working experience in enforcement agency (at least 5 years).

• Experience in working as a team and able to maintain work processes.

Competencies:

• Calm and proportionate behavioural intervention

• Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism

• Firm and respectful approach when working with younger people

• Collaborative working style

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Technical skills: Use of MS word, MS Excel, emails and data entry

Working Hours: 

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch break
• Fridays: 8:00am to 2:30pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays, school holidays, HBL days, examination periods and days where students are not in school.

• Design and deliver structured programmes to equip identified students with skills to regulate emotions and behaviour

• Provide individual and small-group mentoring sessions

• Build trusting relationships with students to support personal growth

2. Behaviour & Emotional Support

• Identify triggers and develop appropriate intervention strategies

• Reinforce positive behaviour through coaching and modelling

• Support students in applying strategies in classroom and school settings

3. Collaboration with School Staff

• Work closely with teachers, Year Heads, Student Management Key Personnel and school leaders to align the support plans for students

• Provide feedback on student progress and behavioural trends

• Contribute to case discussions when required

4. Monitoring & Reporting

• Track student progress in discussion with teachers, Year Heads, Student Management Key Personnel using agreed indicators

• Provide periodic updates on outcomes and recommendations

• Maintain proper documentation of interventions and sessions

Requirements:
• Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, education, social work or case work

• Experience working with primary school students, especially in the areas of student well-being, pastoral care or behavioural support programmes

• Strong interpersonal, communication and mentoring skills

Duration: 20 July 2026 to 31 December 2026

Working Hours:
• Mondays to Fridays: 7:15am to 4:15pm, inclusive of 1hour lunch break

• Weekly working hours: 40 hours

The Services required are set out as follows:

• Ensure all documents and data are properly kept, filed and disposed of in accordance to hospital polices
• Support all enquiries from private patients, external and internal stakeholders
• Co-ordinate appointments that best match patients’ requests while ensuring all clinical and operational guidelines are met
• Arrange admissions and act as the point of contact for patients, doctors and internal stakeholders
• Practice good listening and probing skills to understand patients’ / NOKs’ requests and identify their needs
• Ensure good communication with the patients and/or NOKs, to address their queries and requests (e.g. through the choice of words, speed of speech, voice tonality and clarity)
• Support initiatives to provide go-the-extra-mile service to patients and NOKs
• Handle complaints and difficult patients/NOKs tactfully and apply service recovery when necessary
• Co-ordinate appointments with respective stakeholders in the hospitals and chaperone of VVIP/ VIP to ensure a seamless patient journey
• Support direct admission and air evacuation

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma in any discipline
• On rotation for 24/7 on-call duties
• At least 3-4 years working experience in healthcare industry or any service-related industries, especially in frontline or customer-fronting role

Student Management Resource Personnel

1. Positive School Culture Development

·Champion school-wide positive behaviour initiatives

·Collaborate with other committees (e.g. YL/SDWB) to design character

development programs that instil self-discipline and alignwith school

values.

·Promote inclusive practices that ensure every student feels supported,

connected, and empowered within the school community

2. Operations Management

·Oversee daily operational routines including morning assembly and

school arrival

·Monitor student attendance and punctuality, with timely interventions

where necessary

·Coordinate response to disciplinary incidents

·Maintain systematic documentation of student management cases

·Organize key school events that promote positive student behavior

·Ensure appropriate consequences are meted out in a timely manner.

3. Data Analysis and Monitoring

·Track and analyze student behavior trends

·Monitor effectiveness of intervention programs

·Generate regular reports on student management outcomes.

4. Student Support and Intervention

·Implement tiered support system for students requiring behavioural

intervention

Management

- One-on-One Support: Serve as a dedicated befriender and

mentor to Higher Needs Students (HNS).

- Motivational Talks: Plan and conduct motivational talks toinspire

students and build resilience, drawing on personalexperiences,

where appropriate.

- Physical Activity: Lead and facilitate simple,age-appropriate

physical exercises or light physical activities withstudents to

promote mental and physical well-being.

- Homework Care: Monitors and ensures completion of homework.
