RESPONSILITIES:

Financial Management and Reporting

· Assist in monthly and year-end closing for the charity and its subsidiaries.

· Maintain proper documentation of board resolutions, meeting papers, and governance records.

Systems & Controls

· Maintain financial records using Xero and Workday,

REQUIREMENTS:

· Degree in Accounting / Finance and/or a related discipline

· Minimum 3 -5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a charity, foundation, group finance, or audit-support role.

Role & Responsibilities

• Casework and CounsellingTo readily identify and assess risks inherent in moderately complex cases by integrating a range of information.
  To readily use professional tools and working templates to guide staff in case assessment and case planning
  To represent the centre in its advocacy efforts for vulnerable families, with the aim of advocating for these families to have access to equal opportunities through collaborative practice with community partners
  
• Groupwork and/or Community WorkTo lead or co-lead with another senior/assistant senior in the conduct of client/community assessments, adapt group/community work processes and specialized intervention strategies
  
• Supervisory DutiesTo monitor supervisees' compliance to professional processes (such as the use of tools and templates, adherence to practice policies)
  To assess supervisees' capabilities, identify professional growth areas and build training interventions to meet the growth areas.
  
• Operational Managerial Skills (Operational Processes, Policies and Protocols)To support the Assistant Senior/ Senior/ Lead Professionals in the implementation of centre's operational and practice protocols, processes and policies
  Undertake any other duties assigned by the Head of Centre
  

Qualifications, Competencies & Experiences

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution/ Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years relevant experience in social work practice.
• Inclination towards research and planning is an advantage
• Possess relational skills to effectively network with government agencies, churches and community partners to place the agencies and the organization in good standing for the benefit of clients.
• A good understanding of the quality standards required of each service under his/her purview
• Knowledge and ability to engage, assess, provide intervention and evaluate practice
• Ability to understand client groups and manage risk and protective factors
• Ability to demonstrate reflective practice
• Ability to engage stakeholders and partners
• Knowledge and application of SASW code of professional ethics and Code of Social Work Practice

Sales Team Management

• Lead, manage, and supervise the field sales team, including merchandisers and sales representatives, to ensure strong performance and accountability.
• Plan and optimize routing schedules to maximize market coverage and productivity.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor execution standards, service levels, and team performance.
• Coach and develop team members to strengthen capabilities, identify performance gaps, and implement improvement plans.
• Work closely with the reporting manager to develop KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms across different operational roles.
• Manage sales incentives and commission schemes to motivate and drive results.

Trade Management

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key modern trade retailers such as FairPrice, Cold Storage, Giant, and 7-Eleven at both store and area levels.
• Ensure effective execution and retailer support for promotions and campaigns.
• Gather structured feedback from the field team on trade activations, assess effectiveness, and recommend improvements for future initiatives.
• Lead negotiations for space-buy renewals and new product placements.

Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with retailer inventory planners to ensure optimal stock levels across all brands and alignment with promotional plans.
• Work closely with warehouses and retailers’ distribution centres to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Key Account and Trade Marketing teams to ensure high standards of execution for trade activities, 4Ps strategies, and agency brand initiatives across modern trade retailers.
• Share timely trade insights and planogram updates to support Key Account and Trade Marketing teams in strategy adjustments and retailer negotiations.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Sales & Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record in managing and leading field sales teams.
• Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of modern trade operations and retail execution.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
