About the Role

As a CBRE Mechanical Engineer to support commercial and industrial facilities. You will oversee mechanical systems performance, lead preventive and corrective maintenance, support project upgrades, and ensure regulatory compliance for building M&E systems.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate and maintain mechanical systems: chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs/FCUs, ventilation systems, compressors, and mechanical plant equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, inspections, vibration checks, flow/pressure testing, and mechanical system diagnostics.
• Maintain HVAC systems, piping networks, valves, ducting, and mechanical equipment serving commercial/industrial buildings.
• Support mechanical requirements for industrial machinery, production equipment, and process utilities.
• Execute PM/CM/CBM programs and update work orders using CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with SCDF Fire Code, WSH regulations, and local mechanical/maintenance standards.
• Assist in shutdowns, retrofit works, system upgrades, and testing & commissioning.
• Maintain mechanical drawings, O&M records, reports, and asset documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, tenants, and facilities teams.

What You’ll Need:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in aviation, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, or mission critical facilities is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of full package of M&E systems - HVAC/ACMV, P&S, Fire/Security system etc, as well as mechanical plant equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiar with CMMS, BMS, and mechanical safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Engineering, or a related field.

• 1 - 5 years of experience in a security system integrator environment.

• Networking concepts, including TCP/IP, firewalls, switching, and routing.

• Practical experience setting up and managing Windows/Linux servers and virtual machines.

• Coding/scripting skills are desirable.

• Ability to provide after-hours and weekend/public holiday support as needed.

Job Summary

You will lead end-to-end testing activities for an integrated epayment system, driving test automation and quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle to ensure robust, secure, and efficient system delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute comprehensive testing activities for an integrated epayment system, ensuring alignment with business and system requirements
• Analyze requirements to design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and procedures
• Prepare and maintain test environments to support effective testing operations
• Develop and implement automated test solutions using scripting or programming languages to enhance test efficiency and coverage
• Create traceability matrices to map test cases to requirements, identify gaps, and address them proactively
• Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes
• Conduct test reviews with internal and external teams to validate test coverage and results
• Perform root cause analysis on production and user acceptance defects to improve testing processes and prevent recurrence
• Develop clear design documents and user manuals to guide testers and stakeholders in using test automation solutions
• Implement and maintain automated testing pipelines within DevSecOps frameworks to integrate functional, performance, and basic security testing throughout the development lifecycle

Required competencies and certifications

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience executing testing and developing test automation solutions for device-based (UI or embedded) and/or back-office systems, covering the full system development lifecycle
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively within teams and independently

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Certification in software testing
• Experience with Micro-payments or Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards, including System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Performance Testing
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools such as Confluence, Jira, Xray, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms with security plugin integration
• Experience in API security testing automation and microservices security validation
