We seek a motivated Mechanical Automation Designer to join a multi-discipline team designing automation machines for manufacturing industries. Junior engineers with 2 years’ experience interested in automation are welcome to apply as trainee designers.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical automation systems using 3D CAD and 2D drafting tools such as SolidWorks or AutoDesk Inventor to develop detailed assembly and component designs
• Source materials and suppliers to support design requirements and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
• Manage project timelines by coordinating supply schedules and tracking progress to meet delivery targets
• Collaborate with assembly teams to provide troubleshooting support and resolve mechanical design issues
• Provide onsite technical support during installation and commissioning phases to ensure smooth project execution

Preferred competencies and qualifications
