• Quality Engineers oversee all quality-related activities of processes within their area of responsibility. They drive the continuous improvement of processes, products and services. Their deep know-how of processes and procedures will enable them to co-define and put through efficient and effective corrective measures. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in accordance with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Conduct internal process, system, and product audits, including follow-up and verification of corrective actions.
• Perform quality planning activities: APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, MSA, and SPC.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem‑solving tools (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa).
• Review engineering drawings and specifications; ensure alignment with manufacturing and inspection requirements.
• Manage non-conformities, customer complaints, and CAPA activities.
• Support supplier quality tasks such as supplier audits, incoming inspections, and material disposition.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, KPIs, and audit records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency.

Metrology & Measurement Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional measurement and verification using a range of metrology and precision measurement tools.
• Operate and interpret results from measurement equipment such as:
• CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
• Height gauges, micrometre, calipers
• Vision inspection systems
• Profile projectors, Smart scope
• Surface roughness testers
• Hardness testers
• Develop and maintain measurement procedures, inspection standards, and calibration documentation.
• Support calibration activities and ensure measurement equipment is maintained in accordance with metrology standards.
• Analýze measurement data and contribute to MSA studies (Gage R&R, bias, linearity).

Provide metrology training and technical support to production and quality

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites.
• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
• Printing CAD drawing schematics for engineers.
• Entering CAD data into building information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings.

We Are Hiring: Resident Engineer

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to ensure that construction works are carried out in compliance with contract requirements, design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and the Building Control Act and Regulations.

• Oversee all aspects of the construction process, including maintaining and submitting relevant records.

• Provide comprehensive support and assistance as directed by the Superintending Officer and/or Professional Engineer.

• Review and evaluate the Contractor’s temporary works to ensure safety and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Verify that the Contractor’s work procedures align with the approved method statements and relevant workplace safety and health regulations. Where necessary, instruct modifications to ensure full compliance.

• Conduct inspections of completed works and prepare a list of defects, if required.

2. Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks on marine engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, transmissions, steering systems, and other mechanical and electrical components according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
3. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical problems that arise during vessel operation, including engine failures, electrical malfunctions, and propulsion system issues.
4. Installation and Upgrades: Install, repair, or upgrade marine equipment, including engines, generators, pumps, winches, and navigation systems, ensuring proper functioning and alignment.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and service performed, to track vessel maintenance history and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including proper handling of hazardous materials, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to safety procedures during repair and maintenance activities.
7. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other marine technicians, engineers, and crew members to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure efficient operation of vessels and equipment.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional technical education or certification in marine mechanics, diesel engines, or related fields preferred.
2. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a marine mechanic or in a similar mechanical maintenance role, preferably in a marine environment.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining marine engines, propulsion systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with marine diesel engines, outboard motors, and marine electronics is desirable.
4. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and work environments, with a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques in marine maintenance and repair.
