Requirements:

• PHD / Masters / Degree in engineering discipline with minimum 1-3 year experience.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of equipment setup and assembly. Depending on the equipment, it can include vision, AOI, tape and reel machines, electrical and mechanical components.
• Take charge of machine / module alignment, vision alignment and calibrate machine checkout including electrical and mechanical assembly issues.
• On site support occasionally, both locally and overseas with ability to perform trouble shooting.
• Manage kit assembly, testing and certification.
• Manage stock inventory level.
• Duty for part-purchasing and collection.
• Liaise with subcontractors where necessary.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, NITEC or Higher NITEC with minimum 1 – 3 years relevant experience.

Software Validation Engineer

Software Design & Development

• Design and develop machine control and process control software for automated semiconductor equipment.
• Integrate software components and OEM equipment into fully functional systems.
• Produce optimized, testable, and efficient code with proper documentation, flowcharts, and comments.
• Debug existing source code and refine feature sets to improve functionality and performance.
• Support on-site installation, upgrades, and customer field service requirements.
• Improve equipment performance by conducting system analysis, proposing coding solutions, and recommending changes to processes/procedures.

Software Validation & Quality Assurance

• Develop and implement software validation and regression plans for semiconductor equipment.
• Prepare and maintain validation documentation, including test plans, configuration settings, and test cases.
• Execute functional, performance, and regression testing.
• Analyze test results, document findings, and provide feedback to the design team.
• Troubleshoot defects and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate actively in design and code reviews.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets customer requirements and SEMI SECS/GEM industry standards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and methodologies in software engineering and validation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software design/development and validation in Windows environments (XP and above).
• Strong proficiency in C++, VC++, MFC, SQL, OOP, multi-threaded control software.
• Familiarity with SEMI SECS/GEM standards, GUI design, C#, and WPF is an advantage.
• Experience with hardware integration (Servo/Stepper Motion Controllers, Analog Devices, High-Speed I/O).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, VBA) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Site Engineer (Construction)

Primary Roles and Responsibilities :

• Supervision of Works: Overseeing and managing daily construction activities, including the work of subcontractors and the site labor force, to ensure adherence to approved plans and schedules.
• Technical Expertise & Problem Solving: Serving as the main technical point of contact, interpreting technical designs and drawings, and providing on-site solutions to unexpected technical or engineering problems that arise during construction.
• Quality and Safety Assurance: Performing regular site inspections and quality control assessments to ensure that the work, materials, and methods used meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This includes enforcing workplace safety and health (WSH) procedures.
• Coordination and Communication: Liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including the project manager, architects, consultants, main contractors, and government bodies, to ensure smooth project implementation and communication of progress or issues.
• Resource and Cost Management: Planning, organizing, and monitoring the use of materials, tools, and equipment on site, as well as tracking labor costs to improve efficiency and reduce waste and operational costs. 

Key activities :

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.
• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with Technical team.
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Coordinates between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with the Consultants on the submission related to structural works and Technical Department.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the work place.
• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team / department.
• Ensuring that the site works are completed with high quality standards and adhering to safety requirements throughout the project.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing supplies for quality compliance

• Monitor in-process repair and maintenance works

• Conduct final inspections of completed services and goods

• Maintain inspection documentation and records

• Analyse data to improve processes and reduce wastage

• Collaborate with internal teams and liaise with clients on quality issues

• Handle receipt and issuance of goods

• Any other adhoc duties as assigned
