Role Purpose

NESST’s mandate extends beyond the delivery of its own programmes to shaping the wellbeing of migrant workers and influencing the practices of the wider industry. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and experience

•      A relevant degree, with min 5 years in business development, sales, commercial or partnership roles, including experience in leading a team or function.

Job Description

The Manager, Risk & Compliance is a new role at Hafnia, to be based in Singapore or Copenhagen and part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance pillar within the Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG team. The team works closely with Hafnia's Leadership Group across three pillars to enable strategic execution, safeguard the organization through robust governance and risk oversight, and embed sustainability across the business.

The role reports to the Senior Manager, Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance. During an initial transition period, the role will report directly to the Head of Executive Projects, Compliance & ESG.

This position will play a critical role in operating Hafnia's risk management framework and Corporate Compliance Program, driving compliance efforts and managing enterprise risks. It involves guiding departments and maintaining oversight on compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to sanctions, anti-corruption, anti-trust, anti-money laundering, GDPR, and business ethics. A key focus is building a strong culture of integrity and adherence to regulatory and risk standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Risk management framework

• Operationalize and continuously improve Hafnia's enterprise risk management framework
• Conduct risk assessments and risk reviews with business owners across functions
• Maintain Hafnia's risk register and relevant documentation
• Work with business owners to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans

Regulatory compliance and governance for corporate office

• Develop, implement and regularly review our compliance policies
• Keep up to date on regulatory developments to ensure the business remains complaint
• Assess effectiveness of the Compliance Program and adapt it to regulatory developments and emerging risks
• Coordinate regularly with the legal team and HSEQ department on compliance matters
• Represent Hafnia and develop its engagement within the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) and other industry forums.
• Provide continuous recommendations for the development of the compliance program
• Perform counterparty sanctions screening and assist with KYC process
• Manage the network of compliance systems and guide business users

Forward Freight Agreement (FFA) governance

• Oversee the governance and compliance framework for Hafnia's FFA activities
• Maintain FFA-related controls, policies and documentation
• Coordinate with Commercial and Finance teams to ensure consistent FFA compliance and reporting

Corporate ethics and integrity

• Champion a culture of compliance and ethical decision-making across the organization
• Monitor adherence to our policies and procedures
• Develop compliance training programs and conduct mandatory training and awareness sessions, partnering with the Executive Projects team on rollout and change management
• Manage our whistleblower program and protection mechanisms
• Advise on internal investigations and corrective actions in case of violations

Reporting and auditor coordination

• Manage internal and external audit inquiries relating to Enterprise Risk Management and compliance activities
• Maintain documentation related to compliance and enterprise risk management
• Ensure timely reporting and resolution to inquiries or audits
• Report top risks to leadership and the Audit Committee on a regular cycle

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work with the Executive Projects team on policy implementation and change management initiatives
• Coordinate with the ESG team on governance frameworks, ESG risk integration and assurance alignment
• Work across Legal, HSEQ, Internal Audit and Commercial functions on shared risk and compliance topics

Crisis management and incident response

• Develop and implement crisis response strategies for compliance and risk-related incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in shipping, compliance and/or risk management, preferably within an in-house team and in a global context. Legal experience is a plus.

The Manager/Assistant Senior Manager plays a key role in managing experiential learning courses within the MBA curriculum, including Launch Your Transformation and the MBA Consulting Project, while driving corporate outreach to source high-quality, real-world projects for students. Role Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented Associate Manager or Manager of Payment and Card Operations, to oversee our day-to-day transaction processing, client ledger management, and card program operations.

In this role, you will be the core custodian of how money moves through our ecosystem—balancing available liquidity, payment rail operating hours, settlement speeds, and costs to ensure seamless user experiences.

Depending on your experience level, you will either step directly into or grow into a people-management role - leading a lean on site and cross border operations team, tasked with handling transaction volumes, maintaining strict SLAs, triaging failed payments, and executing complex multi-layer reconciliations.

Additionally, you will partner closely with Product and Engineering to co-design automated payment routing flows and scalable ledger mechanisms.

1. Payment Operations & Liquidity Management

Flow Design & Optimization: Collaboratively design optimized card payment flows while managing the team on daily card reconciliation, chargeback processing, and refund execution.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in payment operations, card operations, or financial clearing, with previous experience leading/mentoring junior team members or managing a team.

Ledger & Recon Expertise: Proven experience managing complex financial ledgers (including promotional/incentive ledgers) and running multi-party ledger reconciliations.

·       Is familiar with the Health, Safety, Environmental Protection and Quality Policy and understands the responsibilities under the Environmental Management System (EMS). In keeping with this and other compliance policies, they understand their duty to report any environmental noncompliance and/or concern to their manager or members of the senior management team (including the highest level of management) either directly or through the open reporting system as per Management System guidelines. 

·       Track and interpret relevant environmental regulations, communicates information to vessels, shore staff and New Build department to ensure compliance with environmental legislations. 

·       Build relationships and consult with regulatory bodies, such as US Coast Guard, etc,

·       Participate in environmental industry associations and committees. 

·       Provide guidance, information, and training on regulatory matters to other departments and sea staff

·       Maintain the legislation register on all upcoming regulatory requirements and looks at trends for the future. 

·       Work with internal stakeholders to position the company for future requirements

·       Drive the implementation of environmental policies and practices onboard and ashore. 

·       Update relevant documents and plans to ensure the most current regulations.

·       Issuing of annual certificates to vessels at completion of monitoring period 

·       Manage the development and employment of systems to ensure compliance, record-keeping, and preparation for: 

o   ISM code certification 

o   ISO standards systems compliance and future certification 

o   Regulatory codes, international regulations 

o   USCG and other relevant national and flag state authority requirements 

o   Documentation, tracking, statistics, and reporting 

·       Perform other duties as required.

·       Liaise with external stakeholders, such as flag states, port authorities, and classification societies, to ensure compliance requirements are met.

·       Maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations to stay informed about changes in regulations and industry standards.

As part of the Customer Experience & Services, Digital Services Planning Team, you play a crucial role in enhancing the customer journey and digital services offered by TADM. This position requires good understanding of digital tools and communication channels, user experience optimisation, developing communications strategies to reduce barriers of customers using our eServices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and user-centric experience for individuals seeking employment dispute resolution services at TADM.

Our key digital touchpoints include our 1) website and 2) integrated system that covers the end-to-end dispute resolution journey from i) chatbot to ii) claim filing and iii) e-Negotiation and/or e-Mediation.

System Management: Maintain and enhance our integrated system. This includes the iterative process of review, refinement and update of existing infrastructure and databases as well as design, testing and implementation of new developments.

Performance Monitoring: Report monthly customer satisfaction ratings and feedback. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the customer journey and digital services, making data-driven adjustments to meet performance goals.

Data Analysis and Insights: Utilise data analytics tools to observe trends and gather insights on user behaviour preferences, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement. Translate data findings into actionable improvements to enhance the customer experience and optimise digital service delivery to deliver exceptional customer experience.

Digital Customer Journey Development and Migration: Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation’s digital strategy, aligning it with customer experience goals and organisational standards.

Job Requirements

• Tertiary education in Business, Information Technology or a related field is an advantage.
• Proficiency or experience in digital service planning, user experience, or customer journey analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with government service standards and employment dispute resolution processes is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analytics tools.
• Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to grasp business issues and technical problems; and provide sound and logical solutions.
• Must possess a customer-centric mindset and able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Independent and strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Import Customer Service Manager supports the leadership of the Airfreight Customer Service team, ensuring smooth end-to-end import customer service operations. The role also involves effective stakeholder management, coordinating with internal departments, customers, and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Leading, coaching, and supporting the Airfreight Import Customer Service team, ensuring staff manage end-to-end import processes efficiently.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor daily import activities, including shipment documentation, coordination with carriers, customs compliance, billing, and job closure. Ensure adherence to established processes and service standards.
• Process Support & Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks, implementing process improvements, and support initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Performance Monitoring: Track team performance against SLAs and KPIs, provide feedback, and escalate issues to the Manager as needed.
• Customer Service Support: Handle complex import-related customer inquiries and serve as a point of escalation for service issues when required.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Airfreight Operations, Customs, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of import shipments.
• Policy & Procedure Compliance: Support the development and implementation of import customer service policies and ensure staff compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Supervisory experience in airfreight import customer service and billing.
• Strong understanding of airfreight import processes, documentation, and customs requirements.
• Previous hands-on experience using Cargowise system
