About the role

As an Lead Design Engineer, you will be focussed on developing technology and features to integrate onto our partner platform robots. Within Upstream Robotics you will be a crucial member of a dynamic team to help meet and exceed the requirements of our products and embedded technologies to ensure a strong pipeline of innovative concept for Dyson. About you

• An expert in either cleaning systems or robotic mechanism design, —including both simulation and physical testing, —to implement and evaluate innovative solutions for dry and/or wet cleaning.
• A degree in a relevant engineering or product design discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of six years of experience in engineering or product development, with a focus on prototyping, concept development, and iterative problem-solving.
• Proven ability to develop early-stage concepts into working prototypes, using hands-on rig-building and creative methods to evaluate feasibility and performance.
• A genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for creating user-focused and commercially impactful products that challenge the status quo.
