Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday Full Day

Job scope

• Attend meetings with client, consultants & subcontractor to ensure that all project requirements are compiled and executed accordingly.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead a team of supervisors / engineers /workers to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirement
• Manage end to end delivery of project through defined project scope, detailed project plan & seek stakeholder’s agreement for sign-off.
• Handle a few minor projects concurrently.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and project staff.
• Evaluate team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare and present project reports to management and clients.
• Monitor, track, and provide timely project progress reports to the management.
• Good knowledge and experience in building related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, piling, A&A, plumbing works etc.
• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree/ master’s in civil & engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
• Experience in a marine construction company is favorable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.

The Design Engineer is responsible for assisting the Senior Design Engineer on structural analysis and design compliance for the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Conduct structure analysis
• Provide technical engineering information to ensure compliance with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions.
• Develop architectural/engineering drawings and ensure specifications/regulations are followed.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and other departments to ensure that the design intentions are met.

This role focuses on building, running, and optimizing production-grade data platforms and pipelines, with strong ownership of infrastructure, automation, reliability, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Manage On-Prem and Cloud Data Platforms

·       Maintainand support on-premises clusters, including compute, storage, networking, andsystem configurations.

·       Provision,configure, and manage cloud infrastructure, including AWS S3, EMR, Redshift,and RDS.

·       Monitorplatform performance, capacity, and availability; implement operational alerts,monitoring, and runbooks.

2. Build, Operate & Support Data Pipelines

·       Develop and support ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and Airflow, ensuring reliable ingestion, transformation, and data loading.

·       Operate pipelines across hybrid environments, handling job execution, retries, basic performance tuning, and failure recovery.

·       Validate, clean, and standardize datasets; monitor pipeline health, data freshness SLAs, and failure patterns, and perform root cause analysis and remediation.

·       Support data storage platforms such as S3, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and MongoDB from an operational and platform perspective.

·       AutomateDataOps and MLOps workflows using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD,Jenkins).

3. Security, Compliance & Governance

·       Implement secure access controls (IAM, VPC, security groups), encryption, backups, and disaster recovery mechanisms.

·       Partner with infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliance with PDPA, GDPR, and internal governance policies.

3) Create and administer appropriate testing protocols to monitor project performance.

4) Inform all supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any construction schedule changes, and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.

5) Maintain budgetary, scheduling, and project database oversight, and report regularly to Project Director to keep him constantly informed of job progress, plans and problems that could significantly affect costs or schedules.

6) Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to strengthen our security posture. You will embed security into our cloud infrastructure, applications, devops pipelines and operational processes, ensuring compliance with global regulators and industry standards. You will partner with engineering, compliance and product teams to anticipate, detect and mitigate security risks in our platform.

• Design, implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments and on-premise systems

• Produce commissioning sequence & commissioning plan as per project requirements
• Liaise with vendors, contractors to prepare testing scripts required for data center equipment and services commissioning and submit them to related authorities
• Produce Testing and commissioning schedule and analyze commissioning critical path
• Liaise with construction team for commissioning requirements to ensure commissioning milestones are achieved
• Liaise with equipment vendors with their testing equipment set up and their requirements to ensure they can be accommodated on site for testing.
