• Diploma or Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Relevant project management experience is a plus.

• At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system in Singapore transit environment.

• Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or new system implementation work at revenue stations.

• Experience in Automatic Fare Collection System upgrade, relocation and system migration projects in transit environment is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review.

• Highly-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.

• Good collaboration and attitude to work with team members.

• Ability to cope with flexible working hours.

• Be expected to perform night work or work during engineering hours.

Job position: Tunnel Control Operator

Shift timing: 7 AM – 3 PM , 3 PM – 11 PM , 11 PM – 7 AM

Working Location: Pasir Panjang

Job Responsibilities:

a) Ensure that only authorised staff displaying valid security passes are permitted to enter the Company’s installation

b) Ensure that all items / materials taken out of the TCC are accounted and recorded

c) Ensure that the company’s facilities, main and pedestrian gates are closed and locked whenever they are left unattended

d) Ensure that photo taking and video filming are not permitted in the premises unless with the approval of at least the relevant Head of Section

e) Record all incidents in the Occurrence Book and immediately report all incidents/fire alarms/malfunctioning of CCTV, Fence Intrusion Detection System and Vehicle Crash Barrier System to the company and the Security Command Centre (“SCC”)

f) Attend to any incidents/matters/activation of fire alarms with Comms set and execute company’s Standard of Procedure

g) Contact the relevant Contact Person/s during an emergency

h) To enforce any instructions/directives in connection with CRISIS management such as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, Flu Pandemic or any other matter health related incident as required by the relevant authorities

i) Ensure all equipment and keys are accounted for when changing shift

j) Comply with all Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) issued by the Company

k) Support any other duties as assigned includes tunnel exercise with external parties such as SCDF, EMA, etc

l) Check that the entries made by contractors/visitors in the visitor’s log book sare correct and complete

m) Not allow any unauthorized person, including the Company staff to enter the control room unless approved by the Company

n) Operate and monitor RFID system to track all personnel enter/exit tunnels

o) Monitor Tunnel SCADA system (similar to Building Monitoring System)

p) Perform emergency SOP to guide staff/workers to evacuation out of tunnels

q) Monitor and trending data of M&E systems

r) Ensure an emergency call-out service is available at all times

s) Any other systems and components, which are to monitor but not specifically

mentioned in the abovementioned sub-clauses but are within the Contract Area, shall be included in this Contract.

Role:
M&E Engineer (construction / Up to $6100)

• Working Days: 5 Day A Week (Monday – Friday)
• Working Hours: 8:30am -5:30pm
• 1 working at future project, at Serangoon, at least 5 years’ experience, salary $4500 - $6100
• 1 working at Jurong West project site, at least 3 years’ experience, salary up to $5400

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• At least 3-5 years in M&E services & Experience in Main Contractor or Sub contractor M&E Department

Job scope:

• To coordinate with consultants/subcontractors on the shopdrawings/ samples/ method statement and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend project/technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner/consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site is in accordance with the approved drawings/ specifications/ authority’s requirement and also ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• Conduct weekly M&E meeting with the M&E sub-contractors to ensure that their work is in proper sequence and ensure that the site supervisors are aware of the work sequence to avoid clashes of site activities.
• To resolve site issues with consultants/subcontractor/supplier ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework including permit to work.
• To coordinate with consultants and contractors for combined services/equipment testing so that site is ready for authorities’ inspection.
