Job Description

As a Design Engineer, you will report to and assisting Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand the project requirements and specifications. This includes the architectural, structural, and MEP designs, as well as the client's requirements for the M&E ACMV systems, that may be used for various purposes of calculations, cost estimations, design for specific results, or objectives of the company.

Job Description:

• Review design proposals from consultant or sub-contractor.
• Coordinate requirements from M&E and architectural disciplines and incorporate them into the shop drawings.

Job Summary

Design and coordinate mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards and safety regulations. Manage multiple projects, conduct inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver efficient MEP solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks to prepare detailed mechanical system drawings
• Perform HVAC system design, including duct sizing and pressure drop calculations to optimize air distribution
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical system installations, ensuring integration with architectural and electrical requirements
• Conduct clash detection and produce Combined Services Drawings (CSD) to resolve conflicts between trades
• Lead site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure project specifications are met
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of Automated Rail Mounted Gantry (ARMG) cranes to reduce downtime by 90%
