Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Building / Civil Engineering/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good Negotiating Skills
• Must be meticulous with positive work attitude
• Committed, analytical and able to meet tight scheduled duties assigned
• Independent and a good team player

• Assist in preparation of tender submission;
• Prepare quotation for job;
• Responsible for measurement of quantities & cost estimation;
• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive the tender pricing;
• Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bill of Quantities;
• Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client’s representative on claims and variation costs;
• Prepare budget statement monthly and review by Superior;
• Manage and verify the Subcontractor’s / Supplier’s claims and prepare payment certificates and to obtain approval from relevant parties
• To maintain the Quality System in the Department;
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior / Management deem fit.
• Able to perform ad-hoc and adminstrative duties.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to call clients and verify contracts, job and for all other informations.

• Position : Quantity Surveyor
• Location : Jalan Lekar (Bus nearby)
• Working hours : 5 days a week - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4500 + 14 days Annual Leave
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Landscaping & Construction Services

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs based on Bills of Quantities and construction drawings
• Support tender pricing exercises, including preparation of tender submissions and participation in tender interviews
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions
• Review contract documentation and identify any discrepancies or variations
• Prepare and submit variation order costings, progress claims, and final accounts
• Assess, manage, and certify subcontractor progress claims

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Management, or related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PDF measurement tools, and cost estimation software
