The Logistics Operation Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness of automated systems, maintenance processes, and operational assets. This role supports corrective and preventive maintenance activities, continuous improvement initiatives, reporting, and asset management through systems such as ServiceNow, Maximo, GIS, and OEE dashboards. The position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, improving system performance, and ensuring data integrity across maintenance operations. 

Key Responsibilities 

Corrective Maintenance 

• Monitor and review ServiceNow tickets related to automation on a daily basis. 

• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and resolve service tickets where possible. 

• Escalate unresolved issues and perform Level 2 troubleshooting until closure. 

• Support troubleshooting efforts for L3/L4 software and automation-related issues. 

• Collaborate with GIS teams to resolve defects related to GIS applications or software. 

• Monitor OEE dashboards to identify daily, weekly, and quarterly performance trends. 

• Investigate and analyze OEE discrepancies and system abnormalities. 

• Validate system performance after corrective actions to ensure stability, accuracy, and prevention of recurrence. 

Preventive Maintenance 

• Conduct regular reviews of equipment maintenance lists to ensure preventive maintenance (PM) compliance. 

• Review and maintain PM checklists and work instructions for accuracy and adherence. 

• Execute PM activities in Maximo, ensuring all required tasks are completed. 

• Accurately update PM status as “Completed” or “Incomplete,” including justification for any incomplete items. 

• Coordinate 6S housekeeping activities in partnership with the GIS team. 

Continuous Improvement (CIP) 

• Identify opportunities for improvement related to automation and maintenance processes. 

• Develop and propose CIP ideas and initiatives. 

• Align CIP improvements with Operational Excellence (Ops/IE), Applied Improvement, and 3PL partners. 

Reporting & Documentation 

• Prepare weekly reports on maintenance activities, corrective actions, and recurring ServiceNow errors. 

• Maintain documentation, including updates to procedures and change management records when processes are revised. 

Asset Management 

• Validate and maintain asset inventory records, including serial numbers, locations, and mappings in Maximo or asset registers. 

• Ensure asset data accuracy and consistency across systems.

Responsibilities

• Support ETP Raw Materials and Finished Goods shipments and co-ordinate process

• Co-ordinate with respective manufacturing plants on shipment movement to ensure smooth delivery

• Co-ordinate and prepare shipping documents timely

• Send weekly report to update status of production and schedule

• Support any ad-hoc report creation and operation of assigned region facilities

• Co-ordinate with 3PL/4PL for import and export related activities at the assigned location

Skills/Requirement

Key Responsibilities

•Run daily shift execution: briefing, task allocation, progress tracking, rebalancing manpower when bottlenecks form.

•Deliver inbound/outbound plans and meet carrier/customer cut-offs with minimal firefighting.

•Enforce SOP and WMS discipline (scanning compliance, correct status updates, no shortcuts).

•Drive quality: reduce mispicks, rework, wrong labels/docs, and prevent repeat errors.

•Support inventory integrity: correct putaway/location discipline, assist with cycle counts, investigate variances and close findings.

•Manage exceptions: missing stock, damages, stuck orders, operational blockers -assign actions and drive closure.

•Lead and manage the team on the floor: coaching, attendance control, basic discipline, and training refreshers.

•Maintain 5S/housekeeping as a baseline expectation (staging discipline, labeling, aisle cleanliness).
