Support site engineer/manager in coordinating workers and subcontractors

Ensure work is carried out according to drawings and instructions

Monitor site progress and report updates

Perform basic site inspections and ensure quality of work

Follow safety regulations in line with Ministry of Manpower Singapore

Help in material coordination and site documentation

Maintain daily site records and reports

Roles & Responsibilities

- Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans

- Perform health and safety audits on sites

- Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel

- Maintain company's health and safety statistics and records

- Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, application of factory permits and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites

- Update Management on new and current health and safety matters

- Investigate all accidents which occurred and recommend appropriate health and safety measures to prevent their occurance

- Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters

- Ensure that the OHS Management programmes are effectively implemented and maintained

- Promote awareness among staff, workers, contractors, suppliers and etc

- Conduct and plan safety training awareness programmes

- Monitor strict compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the importance to workers at the time of safety talk/tool box meetings

- Coordinate Environmental Control Committee Meeting and implement all environmental control programmes

- Maintain mandatory records and other documentation as required by the regulatory authorities

- Ensure compliance of operations with NEA and EHS regulations

- Prepare Site Environmental Control Report on a regular basis

- Conduct environmental control audit and investigations

- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, develop environmental control plan, site clean-up plans & monitor their completion

Requirement

• Possess a valid WSHO & ECO registration with MOM & NEA respectively
• Minimum 2 years experience in Singapore building construction projects

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook food items in bulk according to standardized recipes and menu cycles.

Measure, mix, cut, marinate, and cook ingredients using cooking equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, kettles, and steamers.

Maintain proper portioning to ensure consistency across all locations and reduce food wastage.

Follow production plans, batch cooking, and delivery schedules to meet operational requirements.

Ensure proper storage of raw materials, cooked food, and leftovers following FIFO and food safety standards.

Monitor food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation before dispatch.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas.

Follow all food hygiene, safety, and HACCP procedures.

Assist with receiving and checking inventory, ensuring proper labeling and expiration tracking.

Report equipment faults, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors.

Support menu changes, testing, and new recipe implementation when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cook, Chef Assistant, or in a Central/Commercial Kitchen.

Knowledge of bulk food preparation, portion control, and standard recipes.

Understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Basic math skills for measurements and portioning.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education & Certification:

High School or Diploma in Culinary Arts (preferred)

Food Handler Certificate / Food Hygiene Certificate (added advantage)
