Job Description

• Prepare, revise, and maintain architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate architectural works with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Review drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations.
• Assist in resolving design and technical issues during project execution.
• Monitor site progress and ensure architectural works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Support project managers and architects in design coordination and project administration.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building/Construction, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in architectural coordination and drafting.
• Good Class Bungalow (GCB) project experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD with strong drafting and detailing skills.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies, architectural detailing, and local building regulations.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.

Scope of Work

• Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of complex work activities
• Supervise and coordinate workers, including allocation of tasks and monitoring performance
• Resolve operational and technical issues independently on-site
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and company requirements
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project coordination
• Monitor progress and maintain necessary reports and documentation
• Required to be available beyond standard working hours, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational needs

Requirements

• Relevant supervisory experience in a related industry, with the ability to manage complex operations and workforce
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under demanding conditions
• Able to work extended hours, including after office hours, weekends, and public holidays when required
• Good leadership and communication skills
• A degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage

1) Supervise and coordinate activities of tunnel construction crew engaged in sinking shafts, boring tunnels, placing tunnel segments, moving shield forward, and excavating in front of shield

2) Determine spacing, alignment, and depth of blast holes

3) Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned, and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations

4) Manage and supervise site workers for each shift

5) Ensure completion of work in accordance to main contractor program and requirements safely with no accidents and incidents

6) Troubleshooting and submit in-house report

7) Must know how to do hands-on training to do erecting of segment, ring building etc

8) Able to do shift work (day and night shift)

9) Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervision of temporary works and underground structure or tunnelling.

• Oversee, manage, and coordinate construction activities to ensure quality, accuracy, and on-time completion in compliance with plans and specifications
• Coordinate and direct subcontractor schedules and activities
• Perform field inspections, analyze progress, and report findings
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, and develop and approve corrective action plans
• Oversee subcontractor compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and programs
• Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, for all project activities
• Readily communicate issues with all involved parties
• Maintain professional relationships and build strong, lasting relationships with the project team, subcontractors, and vendors
• Work in tandem with other department managers to ensure a seamless process
• Support all phases of construction from planning to completion, including subcontractor bidding, design review, and project oversight
• Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, project stakeholders
