• Lead and oversee all M&E engineering activities in construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines
• Design of M&E systems installation and commissioning
• Monitor and track the progress of M&E works
• Ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with other building components
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, building codes, and quality assurance requirements (e.g., CONQUAS, QM)
• Ensure M&E works comply with Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations

requirement

• Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end securities transfer requests, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to client mandates and internal procedures
• Verify approvals and ensure all instructions comply with signing authorities and operational guidelines
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, internal teams, custodians, and counterparties to facilitate smooth execution
• Monitor and resolve failed or pending transfers promptly, escalating issues where necessary

• Participate in projects, system enhancements, and ad-hoc testing activities

Job Requirements

• Minimally 2 years of experience in Private Banking Operations, with exposure to securities transfers
• Degree holder with strong academic background
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

About This Role

UQ CAPITAL is seeking a CEO to lead our Singapore licensing and regulatory agenda with a clear focus on LFMC-related governance, regulatory readiness, and execution.

This role is accountable for licensing strategy, MAS engagement, submission quality, and operational control standards required for a regulated fund management setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end licensing and regulatory workstreams relevant to LFMC setup / upgrade / ongoing regulatory alignment in Singapore.
• Serve as the principal executive contact for MAS-facing regulatory communication and external professional advisors.
• Drive regulatory submission planning, response management, and issue resolution with strong documentation discipline.
• Ensure governance, compliance, AML/CFT controls, risk framework, and internal policies are aligned with LFMC expectations.
• Build and oversee cross-functional execution across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
• Establish management and board reporting cadence for licensing status, key risks, dependencies, and remediation actions.
• Ensure operational readiness for regulated activities, including SOPs, controls, record-keeping, and accountability mapping.
• Lead and coach relevant teams to maintain a regulator-ready operating environment.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven senior executive experience (e.g., CEO / ED / COO / RO) within an LFMC in Singapore.
• Demonstrated track record in MAS-related licensing/regulatory submissions, review cycles, and regulator engagement.
• Strong practical knowledge of governance, compliance, AML/CFT, and risk-control frameworks for licensed fund management operations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable operating models and cross-functional execution plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in licensing enhancement, variation, or scale-up phases within Singapore regulated fund management entities.
• Prior accountability for regulator-facing documentation and internal control remediation programs.
• Familiarity with institutional standards for policy frameworks, oversight mechanisms, and audit readiness.

Responsibilities:

General Ledgers Functions & Closing Procedures

• Ensure general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing procedures are completed timely
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and monthly schedules for P&L and cash flow.
• Monitor compliance with company and statutory requirements, including internal controls.
• Support audits and maintain integrity of accounting records and balances.

Accounting Operations & Reporting

• Responsible for interfaces with SSC in handling Accounts payable/receivables in an accurate an d timely manner.
• Responsible for processing of accounting source documents, maintaining of accounting systems and records and producing reports from the accounting system.
• Monitor balances to ensure integrity and quality of the accounting information.
• Support review of the performance of accounting procedure to ascertain and verify accounting balances and records. Preparation ofschedules to support financial statements.
• Support in the accounting processes implementation.
• Assist in queries to resolve issues from BUs.
• Support initiatives to improve and streamline processes with SSC.

Internal Controls Testing, Compliance & Other Projects

• Assist in implementing changes and ensure processes are in place for new and revised policies and guidelines.
• Support in the ICS roll-out from the entity
• Support manager for ICS process with HQ ICS department
• Ensure regular review of process documentation for ICS for the BUs.
• Review ICS checklist for controls and controls testing and conduct regular review and sample testing.

Requirements

• A Tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of studies
• At least 3 years of working experience in finance and accounting
• Strong understanding of accounting standards.
• Knowledge of Corporate Tax and Goods & Services Tax (GST) regulations.
• Good proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications.
• Experience in financial planning, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Well-organized, logical thinker, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
