Responsibilities:

• Candidate will be trained to handle a wide spectrum of 2-Dimentional drawings.
• If suitable, candidate may be trained to handle 3D drawings.

Requirements:

• Candidate shall be trained to handle a 2D land survey related drawing, including as-built, topographical and pre-computation plans.
• Min Diploma or Degree Engineering (preferably in Building Drafting)
• Perferably with 2 to 3 years hands on experience in AutoCAD software
• Priority wil be given to those who has advanced AutoCAD skills
• Fast learner with good working attitude
• Willing to clock in extra working hours

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm

About the role

This is a full-time on-site role for Senior Technician who is responsible for the day-to-day smooth operation of the Hotel, ensuring that the general efficiency of the air-conditioning system, fire protection system, hot & cold-water distribution and electrical installation are in good standing order. To lead the shift team and assist the department management in executing tasks and plans.

Responsibilities:

• To escort and supervise contractors
• To carry out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements
• To assist in firefighting and emergency evacuation
• To assist in handling all emergencies
• To perform daily startup, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements
• To update daily on communication book and maintenance log
• To attend to complaints from hotel guests and other departments
• To take daily, weekly & monthly utilities readings
• To complete the work order forms / tasks request via Stayplease App
• Tracking of inventory / stocks for Minibar, In-room Safe, TVs, bulbs, etc
• Upkeeping of Recycling Corner & Food Waste Machine
• Responsible for training of new team members
• Take charge of the Operation Shift team
• To attend to shift technician on their problems/issues that cannot be resolved
• To highlight to the reporting line on the request for external vendors
• To ensure together with shift technician to carry out daily routine inspections to all plants
• To take instructions from TO/Engineer on the contractor’s servicing/repairs
• To take up internal minor preventive maintenance for rooms & public areas
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management

Job Description

• Perform electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including loop checks, equipment energization, and functional testing.
• Carry out cable pulling, glanding, termination, and verification of wiring in accordance with drawings and standards.
• Conduct insulation resistance testing, earth continuity testing, and equipment start-up support.
• Assist commissioning engineers in energizing systems safely and documenting all required test results.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and rectify faults identified during testing or start-up phases.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Complete and maintain commissioning checklists, test reports, and handover documents accurately.
• Coordinate with instrumentation, mechanical, and control teams to ensure smooth system integration and commissioning.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Preferably experienced in oil & gas, marine, shipyard, or industrial environments.
• Valid SSIC (Shipyard Safety Instruction Course) certification.
• Valid medical clearance, preferably OGUK, or as required by the project/site.
• Any additional yard-specific or client-specific certifications required for electrical work.
