Required competencies and certifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support HW NPI SQPM (Solution Qualification Project Manager) in managing ad-hoc hardware validations
• Assist in validation planning and coordination, including scope confirmation, test readiness checks, and schedule tracking

Your Impact

Manage volume test operations at OSATs to meet production targets and ensure alignment with Cisco product ramp plans. Develop and transfer ATE and SLT test programs from Cisco labs to production environments, acting as the first responder to hardware and software production issues. Drive prompt resolution of test issues and collaborate with OSATs to meet throughput, yield, cycle time, and uptime metrics. Project background

FHT2 is an NRF-CREATE programme co-funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF), ETH Zurich, and NHG-NTU, and represents the second phase of the FHT initiative launched in 2020. The programme brings together psychologists, neuroscientists, computer scientists, engineers and clinicians to develop next-generation digital health solutions.

The Software Engineer will join the Monitoring and Supporting Cognitive Health in the Community project. This project focuses on the development and deployment of an AI-powered mobile platform designed to assess, monitor, and support cognitive health during real-world navigation. The platform integrates cognitive and navigation assessments, smartphone sensor data, and AI-driven conversational agents.

A central component of the project is the development of a robust, scalable, and user-friendly mobile application ecosystem across iOS, Android, and web platforms. Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of a cross-platform mobile and web application for cognitive health monitoring and support.

Working within a highly multidisciplinary team across the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC), NUS, and NTU, the Software Engineer will collaborate closely with researchers, designers, and clinicians to translate research prototypes into reliable and scalable software systems.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), as well as contributing to the web-based frontend (ReactJS) and backend services (NodeJS). The candidate will implement features enabling user interaction with AI-driven conversational agents, integrate APIs and sensor data pipelines, and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems.

The role also involves optimizing app performance, ensuring data security and privacy, and supporting deployment and testing in real-world environments. Selection Criteria

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Salary commensurates with educational qualifications and work experience.

Strong programming skills and hands-on experience in modern software development are essential. In particular, candidates must have experience in:

• ReactJS for web frontend development
• NodeJS for backend development and API design
• Swift for iOS application development
• Kotlin for Android application development

Experience with full-stack development and building end-to-end applications is highly desirable. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud services, and database systems is expected. Experience with mobile app deployment, testing, and maintenance on both iOS and Android platforms is required.

Experience in user interface (UI) design and user experience (UX), particularly for mobile or interactive applications, is considered a strong advantage.

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications (frontend & backend)
• Build scalable solutions using Node.js, React, and MongoDB
• Develop modular, reusable components and APIs
• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support SIT/UAT phases

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software development / system implementation
• Strong hands-on experience with:Node.js (backend), React.js, TypeScript (frontend), MongoDB
• Experience building web applications (not just maintenance)
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Exposure to microservices and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes)

We are seeking a Software Programmer with expertise in PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and C# to join our team in Singapore.

This is a full-time, on-site role that involves designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for industrial automation.

Day-to-day responsibilities include programming, debugging, testing applications, and working on integration projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of SECS/GEM and GPIB protocols.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and innovative solutions for our clients.

Qualifications

•Strong expertise in Programming, Software Development, and Back-End Semiconductor Development

•Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and methodologies

•Experience with PLC programming and C#

•Knowledge of SECS/GEM and GPIB protocols is preferred

•Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills

•Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment

•Software Engineering, or a related field is an advantage
