Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities, including journal preparation and balance sheet schedules
• Prepare financial reports, analysis, and short-term forecasts for management review
• Assist with audit processes (including J-SOX and external audits)
• Maintain and verify fixed assets records, including additions and disposals
• Support HQ reporting and compliance requirements
• Handle general accounting administration and documentation
• Assist with office administrative matters (e.g. vendor coordination, maintenance, supplies)
• Support ad-hoc finance and operational tasks as required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably handling full sets
• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Familiarity with GL, reporting, and month-end processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g. D365 or similar ERP)
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on varied responsibilities

Job Summary

As a Workplace Safety Health Officer, you will lead and execute operational workplace safety and health (WSH) initiatives to ensure safe construction environments. You will collaborate with project teams and occupiers to implement effective safety measures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a culture of safety across worksites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) protocols in compliance with legal requirements to maintain safe construction sites
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions that mitigate risks on-site
• Collaborate with occupiers and project teams to develop and execute safety measures that prevent workplace incidents and promote a safe working environment
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in occupational safety and health standards
• Respond proactively to safety concerns and incidents, coordinating timely investigations and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence
• Support the organization in fulfilling all operational WSH duties to uphold safe construction practices throughout project lifecycles
• Perform additional occupational safety and health tasks as assigned to support overall site safety and compliance objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Registration with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
• Level C certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or a Degree in WSH

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a WSH Officer, preferably in public infrastructure projects
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player with diligence and responsibility
• Willingness to work beyond standard hours with compensatory time off as required
