Requirements:

Job Responsibilities

1. Equipment Design and Selection

• Select, design, and adapt mechanical systems such as:
  - Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs)
  - Ventilation systems
  - Slurry transport systems
  - Hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

• Customize equipment based on geological conditions and tunnel specifications.

2. Installation and Commissioning

• Supervise the installation of heavy machinery and auxiliary systems.
• Conduct system testing and ensure proper commissioning.

3. Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose faults and oversee repair work on TBMs, conveyor belts, pumps, etc.
• Ensure minimum downtime and safe operation.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all mechanical systems meet safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with safety officers to implement and maintain safe work practices.

5. Technical Support and Coordination

• Provide on-site mechanical engineering support during construction phases.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, geologists, and project managers.

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain records of mechanical performance, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
• Prepare technical documentation for machinery and equipment.

7. Innovation and Optimization

Educational Qualification

Technical Skills

Job Description

• Plan and supervise the maintenance team in the execution of assigned plant maintenance activities within schedule and cost, in compliance with regulatory and company's standards and requirements, in particular company's safety standards, as well as to develop staff capabilities using appropriate capability interventions and on-the-job training
• Supporting the Power Plant to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance carried out for all plant equipment and plant utilities
• Perform frontline troubleshooting on plant equipment defects and failure to maintain high availability
• Provide necessary guidance and advice to maintenance staff or external contractor to execute the maintenance work in a good engineering manner

Job Description

1. Experienced in motor and pump troubleshooting and maintenance

2. Knowledgeable in control systems (DOL, Star-Delta, VFD)

3. Able to read electrical schematics and layout drawings

4. Proficient in AutoCAD and technical drawing software to review, modify, and prepare technical drawings

5. Hands-on experience with testing tools (multimeter, insulation tester, etc.)

6. Knowledgeable in pressure and temperature switch, gauges, sensor and flow control valve, sensor

7. Able to work servicing and maintenance of mechanical equipment

8. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical components (bearings, seals, couplings, valves)

9. Perform troubleshooting and repair for mechanical faults (vibration, overheating, leakage, abnormal noise)

Requirements

Degree in (Mechanical / Electrical) engineering or in any engineering field.

Prior experience in M&E and fit out works would be an added advantage.
