· To work with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop structural scheme for structures and buildings.

· To carry out engineering analysis to assess the stability and load to be sustained by the structures.

· To carry out engineering design in according with Eurocodes or relevant international design codes.

· To prepare submission to authorities for approval of design.

· Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading role and embrace a culture that values teamwork.

· To attend project meetings with Client, Project Manager and Consultants from other disciplines.

· To attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries.

· To lead junior engineer in delivering design and seek clearance for all relevant parties and authorities

· To conduct supervision & contract administration when required

Key Requirements

· Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.

· Minimum 7 years of experience with design of multi-storey/high-rise building from a local engineering consulting environment is preferred.

· Those registered as Professional Engineer with PEB and/or have more relevant working experience will be considered for senior role.

· Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.

· Competent user of relevant engineering software.

· Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.

· Able to interact and work with colleagues and member of other consultants at various levels.

REQUIREMENTS

Job Description:

• Lead site coordination and execution relating to the construction project
• Planning of structural works and micro scheduling with other disciplines
• Assist PM/CM in overseeing the construction activities and progress, planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the detailed work program
• Ensure site operations progress smoothly and on schedule, comply to all authorities requirements and standards and specifications are properly implemented
• Coordinate the review of drawings, submission of proposal, query and design for consultant approval
• Update the progress of structural works in the Progress Reports
• Assist in commissioning including coordination structural engineering
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by PE Board of Singapore)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in local building construction industry involved in HDB/LTA projects
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes and regulations and familiar with local standard quality implementation
• Good leadership and communication skills, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
