What would a Project Manager (Freelance On-site) do at WPP Production?

As a Project Manager (Freelance On-site), you'd be responsible for project managing localisation work for our client's Marketing Communication materials across different platforms. Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent).
• Able to perform rotational day and night shifts due to the nature of tunnel and roadwork projects (in compliance with MOM’s work-hour and rest regulations).
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day site operations
• Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements for sewer works
• Carryout site setting out, including alignment, levels, and gradients for pipelines and manholes
• Supervise construction activities such as excavation, pipe laying, jointing, manhole construction, and backfilling
• Ensure all works are performed in compliance with safety regulations, particularly for deep excavations and confined space operations
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, surveyors, and relevant authorities on site activities
• Monitor project progress and report on daily activities, delays, and issues to management
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet required standards
• Arrange and oversee testing and commissioning activities (e.g., leakage tests, CCTV inspections)
• Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues promptly
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants on project progress

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum1–3 years of relevant site experience
• Experience in site supervision, with specific experience in sewer works.
• 6 days work week

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge and experience in the construction industry.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple parties.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
