Job Summary

You will prepare and bake traditional breads and pastries, manage bakery opening and closing, maintain appealing displays, order supplies, and ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Mix, prepare, and bake breads and pastries according to recipes to ensure product quality and consistency
• Open the bakery each morning and close it in the evening, ensuring all tasks are completed on time
• Arrange the display case attractively to enhance customer appeal and sales
• Order bakery supplies timely to maintain inventory and avoid shortages
• Collaborate effectively with team members to support smooth bakery operations
• Follow recipes accurately to maintain product standards
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area throughout shifts
• Manage time efficiently to meet strict production deadlines

Salary

• $3000 - $3100 per month / $13 - $15 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive, check, and record incoming goods against delivery orders

• Perform picking, packing, labeling, and sorting of goods according to customer orders

• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks or forklifts

• Assist in inbound and outbound warehouse operations

• Ensure accurate stock handling and proper storage of goods

• Conduct regular stock counts and support inventory control activities

• Prepare goods for dispatch and assist with shipment documentation

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse

• Follow warehouse SOPs, and safety regulations

• Support ad-hoc warehouse and logistics tasks as assigned

Requirement:

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience is required.

• Forklift license is an advantage

• Class 3 driving licence is an advantage

We are looking for a Research Assistant (1-year contract) to support a research project examining disinformation and propaganda operations across Southeast Asia and their impact on Singaporeans. The project will focus on the digital space, including social media and messaging apps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, scrape, and clean large datasets from online platforms and media sources.

• Conduct computational analysis of disinformation and propaganda networks.

• Develop and apply data visualization techniques to present findings clearly.

• Collaborate on research design and methodology discussions.

• Co-author academic papers, conference submissions, and project reports.

• Support literature reviews and integrate computational insights into theoretical frameworks.

• Assist in preparing presentations and communicating findings to stakeholders.

• Assist in logistics, such as equipment purchasing and hiring student assistants

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, information studies, or related fields.

• Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, R) for data scraping, cleaning, and analysis.

• Experience with data visualization tools and libraries (e.g., Tableau, matplotlib, ggplot).

• Familiarity with social media APIs and web scraping frameworks.

• Ability to run statistical and computational analyses (e.g., regression, network analysis, machine learning).

• Academic writing skills and willingness to co-author publications.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Prior experience in computational social science or related projects is preferred; Entry level candidates with relevant skills are welcome to apply.

Contract Period: From 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027.
Working Days/Hours:
Mondays to Wednesdays only: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 30mins lunch break

Scope of Services

• Assist in preparing teaching and learning resources, including science experiment materials, and maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation.
• Support students during science experiments under teacher supervision.
• Provide administrative support (e.g. certificates, surveys) and manage the loan, return, and disposal of teaching resources.
• Provide front-desk support, including handling enquiries, and assist with printing duties as required.

Requirements:

GCE N-Level Certificate with passes in English and Mathematics;

At least two (2) years of experience in providing teaching support;

At least two (2) years of experience in handling reception duties or equivalent administrative responsibilities.
