• Cluster expansions, node additions/removals, and data migrations.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems supporting the Cloudera platform.
• Manage OS-level configurations, filesystem tuning, user and group management, and kernel-level parameters.
• Apply and validate security patches, OS updates, and Cloudera platform hotfixes.
• Identify and remediate Linux and Cloudera vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshoot cluster issues related to services, performance, networking, resource contention, or application integration.
• Analyze logs and metrics to proactively identify and resolve platform issues.
• Work closely with application teams to support: Hive/Impala queries, HBase NoSQL workloads, Spark/YARN resource management
• Provide platform integration support for APIs, connectors, and data pipelines.
• Install, configure and administrator Elastisearch clusters.
• Perform regular cluster health checks, capacity planning and tuning.
• Troubleshoot Elasticsearch clusters issues.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of experience as a Cloudera/Hadoop Administrator.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cloudera CDP and Cloudera Manager.
• Experience in HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, Ranger, Kafka, and related ecosystem components.
• Experience in Linux administration and shell scripting.
• 2-3 years of experience as Elasticsearch administrator.
• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workloads.
• Strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience in security frameworks: Kerberos, TLS/SSL, Ranger policies, AD/LDAP integrations.
• Experience in Cloudera CDP clusters and Elasticsearch clusters.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in data governance, backup/restore, and disaster recovery.
• Experience in API integrations and enterprise data platforms.
